Scrapmetal. My god, I have had this at lvl 4 now for two months and all's I can say is woohoo! The ISK difference in reprocessing is huge. I personally cant see training it to lvl 5 but I have a corp mate who turned me onto this skill who does have it to lvl 5. It was a PITA to get up to lvl 4 but well worth it.
What skills do you all think are under appreciated?

I'm not sure where you're reprocessing your stuff, but in most empire stations Scrapmetal level I will get you 0% waste (and training it any higher won't get any improvement).

Probably why he said it was under-appreciated.
A handful of dictors will help you win more fleet fights than 1 or 2 Command ships.

if they live long enough...
Charisma learning skills in this class. Overlooked attribute so skills boosting it tossed to side. Till you start needing leaderships skills for fleet boosts or even as a carebear and you look at the bonuses of the social skills to squeeze out isk or lp's.

I probably overlooked something but aren't ships with the most targets Logistics, Recon and Marauders and that would be 10? Multitasking lvl3 should cover that no? I'm not sure you know what "under-appreciated" means.
It means that something is better than most people think--ie: that people don't appreciate it as much as they should. It does not mean "trained or used by the fewest people".

As of 20 seconds ago, I am no longer among those people. Well, we haven't met, but had I met you I would've been one of them. And now I'm not, had we assumed we had met and thus me having been one of them in the first place. Or well, I'm not one of them any way we look at it really. Uhm yeah. I'm gonna go now.

Well, you beat me to the punch here :) I suppose I could throw Accounting out there as a standby. Each level of Accounting reduces your transaction taxes by 10%, so maxxing it out halves the amount of tax that you pay. That can stack up during a long Eve career!

You'd be surprised how many people don't even have it trained, because they think they'll never lead anything, so why bother?
Then you get into a 50-man fleet, and don't have enough people to support the squads. The targeting bonus is also quite helpful, especially for small ships that get away quickly... (Stealth Bombers)

If you slap a Signal Amplifier onto those ships, you can lock 11–12 targets (or, well, you can do that to any ship, but you'd be wasting a lot of lowslots to get beyond 10). ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Starbase Defense Management. It amazes me how many people in corps with POS's don't have this skill at least to lvl 3.
A good corp with 4-5 people controlling POS guns can defend one pretty well.

Try an auto targeting system. +3 max targets for the ship for the T2 version. Get's even my mission ship up to 10 targets, which I can't believe I went so long without it.

Holy crap!
I have it at 3. I have noticed my drones attacking targets at 50k+ and never understood what was going on.
Until now.
Training it to 5 just became a priority for me.
