The Pride of Caldari
The movie takes on the story of a fighter pilot who gets involved in a secret project called the pride of caldari. This is part 1 of the movie which is more or less the intro of things to come.
Part 1
As I have made a complete script that follows the complete series over aprox 4 different acts, I felt the need to upload the first part just to see what your thoughts are on this. It is not ingame stuff I am doing, I am rendering this stuff while I am doing it.
The voice acting sucks. I have made a complete podcast to explain that part.
Music, effects and rendering was all done by myself.

Apart from the Star Wars stuff, it looks not bad at all, although i'd prefer the original weapon effects ;)

Didn't want to waste my time on this anymore since I already wasted 8 months on it and I have a crap load of 'hate' mails in my mailbox already after making part 1.
So... I'll leave it at this.

I loved it. I even made a parody with new audio because is soo great. Its absolutely incredible!
Youtube won't let me upload videos longer than ten minutes, though, so I put it up on evefiles.

"A" for effort, good camera work in the space scenes, definitely makes it feel more dynamic. Not too crazy about the Star Wars models being used, but you know what, what you've produced is a damn-sight better than what 99% of other EVErs or I can do, so two thumbs up to you for all the work.
The early scene in Part 1 with the chase through the asteroids made me ask why there aren't cool missile vapor trails in the actual game. I also like that you've produced something with more than the same-old rehashed views of fleet combat, and added a planetside view and ship interior.
Keep up the work, dude, practice makes perfect.

Your space combat scenes are very very impressive and fantastic.
However, the indoor scenes with the star wars models totally sinks the overall quality of the film.
So maybe if you can somehow remove those indoor scenes and replace them with voiceovers/narration or some 3D game mod, the movie would be 10000% better and reach the high potential set by the opening space combat sequence.

I support the tribute Jade Elaira has posted, it takes the best parts hydlided took the time to create, and supplemented it with a vastly superior soundtrack. Congrats to both of you; you are truly masters of the creative arts!

I really liked the video but I didn't enjoy "watching" it so much. You need a proper effects program or learn to use yours. The fire and explosions looked pretty awful.
