Simple, give us a skill that, once at level V, allows the training queue to have up to 48 hours of skills on it. It makes sense, I mean we have skills to lower the training time for skills themselves.
Of course there's probably already a skill like this and I look like a **** right now.

This is never going to happen.
The CSM had to fight REALLY hard to get a 24 hours queue.
CCP wants people to actually play the game and 48 hours won't help that and it won't happen anyway if you don't find a better argument than "It makes sense, I mean we have skills to lower the training time for skills themselves."
Find a proper reason before posting and, in case you don't know, the reason we have a 24 hours queue is to make it possible to train short skills considering most players always play during the same time of the day. 48 hours won't improve that in any way.

Give them an inch...
Be glad you have the 24 hour queue, it used to be set your alarm to midnight so you didn't lose training time. An easy way to get a longer queue however, is to put roughly 23 hours worth of skills, then top it off with a longer skill.

No thanks. The skillqueue is allready 24 hours too long. Longer skillqueue time will kill skill management game play.

Skill queue is not a automated skilltrainer.
its mainly in place so you have 24 hours to login and set the next skill to train. This has been increased from previous 0 minutes margin that we used to have.
I am very happy with the 24 hour training queue.

Edited by: Cecilia Syal on 09/01/2010 15:52:19 if you do your skill queue right, you can set up tons of lvl1 to 3 skills to train, then at very end set a long skill, so for instance 23 hours of small skills, then a long skill at end, so if you miss logging in, it falls to something you want anyway
my current training queue is 1d 15 hours

48 hour skill queue. Again. So tell my why only 48 hours. Why not a month? A year?
24 hours are not enough? the SQ is great as it is now.

The skillqueue is there so you don't have to login in the middle of the night just because some skill finishes. I remember I always set a long skill over night and the short ones during the day. Nothing really got finished as fast as it could and you had several half-trained skills in the pipe. Needless to say, it sucked.
The skillqueue is there to remedy this so you can have a full night of sleep. 24h suffice for that, which is probably why that timeframe was chosen. -
