Edited by: Icuras Hunt on 10/01/2010 08:58:52 I guess this is what happens when you lie about neutral assets being yours and then trying to extort a friendly FW corp out of 40 billion isk. Hire one of the largest Merc Alliances in the game against a single Corporation who is like 1/4 their size, then wardec them yourselves once your Merc Alliance blob shows up. Then remove yourself from Faction Warfare which all your members rather enjoy.

There is another thread in there where they are talking about making a new Corp cause CCP took a bunch of bought isk out of the Corp wallet making it negative and all their lower members are like wtf happened.
Make sure to look at their BS fits.. Pretty lulzy

ISK Buying?
Owned in so many ways ...
I think I'll take a shower now.
*feels dirty after reading that thread*
p.s. I can imagine being mercs feels like a dirty job sometimes when you realize you were hired by the 'wrong' side to a conflict, hehe.

As far as I've heard it went a little like this:
- No Mercy go on pos hunt and kill a nice target without any communications by the owners during reinforce. - Surprise! After POS has been blown up it turns out it belonged to an alt corp of former FW buddy ABC - CEO Battlestar flips out, No Mercy offers reasonable reimbursements, Battlestar's demands are much, much higher. - No Mercy doesn't comply with said demands, Battlestar hires Noir. - No Mercy and Noir both enjoy a few interesting encounters and pretty much even out in losses. - Now it looks like ABC's site is hacked which is kinda sad to be honest, even though it does put the spotlight on some dirty isk buying practices ...

Quite right, except for the last part. No hacking was involved, just some angry AB-C members willing to betray their corp.

Thanks for the insight. Seems they tried to get a new source of income after the GM-involvement and the successful anti-ISK-Seller campaign.
Nice drama there. It's a bit sad that we have to wait for CEO and member tears, though. They would be the first NOT to post something ridiculously embarrassing to a thread exposing their corp/alliance. *runs to get popcorn*

What really happened: -No-M destroy an alt-pos, worth 40b isk. -The owner is ****ed and hires mercs, to dec nm. -Absinth decs nm. -nm hire mercs to dec absinth. -nm hacks absinth forums and start character assassination campaign against bc and others.
Btw, 50% of the forum posts have been edited or created by the hacker himself. He really put alot of time in this.

Oh how amusing revenge is ûespecialy when its served cold (to paraphrase a trekie line)
I tend not to post on the forums as the constant chest beating annoys me however the escalating recent events has giveen me cause to.
The sad story started with a medium empire pos which I was no longer using being re-used for some charity work to introduce some newer players to research and allow some older semi retired players to tinker with things in empire. I ran this at a loss although I did recoup some isk from rented lab slots.
Unfortunately I neglected to fuel the pos sufficiently and it went offline whilst i visited relatives during the thanksgiving / xmas period. This was my mistake and although irritating that a corp which i considerd friendly and indirectly supplied on occasion (I make a lot of isk keeping the factional warfare guys in ships) should destroy it.
After recompencing some of the losses incured by the users my gaze was drawn to the matter of Punishment/Revenge.
Mercanries were contactedand put on standby (I used contacts to set the contracts up and released some isk assets to a small war fund)
An Opportunity was given to the corp (again via a proxy agent) to pay a mere 4 billion to repay the isk that I used to re-emburse the pos users.
The reply was Loudmouth smack of poor intelectual quality. Hence the wardec went active.
Like a ******ed schoolyard bully after recieving a reprimand No.Mercy showed their true colours and ineptitude by blindly lashing out and attacking what they percieved were weak corps mostly from their own malitia. I found this somewhat amusing especialy as they used their isk to hire merc corps to attack the wrong people thus further antagonising once friendly corps and to underline their ineptitude at combat. I now see that In their desperation No.Mercy have resorted to commiting Federal offences By mailing Keylogers and hacking peoples PCÆs
Whether this is through stupidity or for the want of some Prison Botttom love I cannot say, But I cannot stand aside and gloat at the trail of misfortune now occuring to No.Mercy be attributed to the wrong parties and although I cannot take the credit for all the woes induced some should fall at my door.

The Pos destroyed contained many labs with bpo's and research which totaled more than 40Bil although not all of the people using it have come forward.
Liam did have some T3 Hulls and a ME7 orca BPO amongst his personal loss so he is justifiably annoyed especialy as it was found after tailing my alt after delivering ships to him. I saw ships in local but they were not flagged as hostile and I ignored them as they were apparently from liams alliance.

Edited by: Illfindyou on 10/01/2010 15:17:23 Good thing no one actually cares about the fortunes of nm or abc. Funny that pJvp corps have to hire mercs though, seems a bit redundant.
Edit: also, who the hell leaves BPOs in a pos? Learn2remote research job nubbins

I guess a lesson the newbies are now learning is "you can keep the BPO at a station in the same system as the POS."

I couldn't read anymore after this. Someone who gets their literature references from 'Kill Bill' need to be drug out into the street and shot, ingame of course
The phrase 'Revenge is a dish best served cold' is a lot older than Star Trek. If you're going to quote it from pop culture, at least quote it from Mario Puzzo's The Godfather.

The worst part is that battlestar convinced (I thought) an old friend of mind Jackman2232 from militia to join my corp and spy for them by lying to him and talking bad about us, talking about how we were griefing thier alt corps etc, forcing us to expose and ruin jack's reputation now (ill edit in a link to my C and P crime thread about him) only to find out he was completely used. Sorry Jack, you got played. You can thank Battlestar's inspiring leadership for that.
As for getting access, I wonder which director with admin sold you out battlestar. Im not even sure what that says about your corp, or the dozens of thread where you get into flame wars with your own directors.
