CCP's attitude to this is basically: "The Code we made back then is so ****ed up there is no way to fix that without redoing it alltogether" - and of course they are not going to reinvent the wheel there (although the one we have atm is more square than round).

I would sure love to see ability to just 'install' prints so they go into shortest que available in that location (or even better for the closest 'deliver' date if you have multiple slots with different speeds available) and manual determination as optional ability instead of current wrist breaking stuff.
It sucks hard when I get around to fill my labslots with 7 or so well skilled chars. The better industry interface has been asked for years. The current one is small improvement over the previous one if you are using NPC slots but still sucks utterly as soon as you need to start using POS.
So yeah - still waiting for my industrial expansion. And no - getting Orca is not 'industrial expansion' - it's just getting one more ship to help mining.

Funnily enough I was only thinking of this a few hours ago, I was highlighting 6 t2 bpc's and trying to get all the jobs to initiate at the same time in my equipment array... I was like "wtf? I have to start them ALL individually?"
Not exactly high drama, but when we are talking about hundreds of bpc's that need to be copied, invented and then manufactured it starts becoming way way way to like much like a job and less like a game
POS's are definitely in need of an overhaul, and while im at it - you should be able to bulk but a 'fuel lot or pack' that contains all the various bits necessary to fuel your tower for a period of time - week/month etc. Charge a premium if you want of 10% or whatever but jesus christ figuring out buying all those fuel amounts is a total pain in the ass

I'm sure I read in a blog or something that they're looking into ways of installing multiple jobs at once, not sure which blog it was in or who said it, or when it was said for that matter.
..but it was said!

Ah yes ... Quantum Rise...
CPP: Give us ideas for an industrial expansions US: Here's lots of ideas that will make industry 1000x better CCP: That's too hard, here's a crappy ship and several paged of meaningless patch notes to make it look like we did something

CCP loves RSI.
It's like they have shares in medical insurance companies or something.

Considering the number of drop down menus in EVE, how hard would it be to add a control-right-click or shift-right-click to actually select multiple items?
All of this should be in the EVE API already....duh!
So much for object oriented programming.
Come on guys, get with the program. RSI is so 1990s. This is the new milennium.

Dealing with the science and manufacturing interfaces is a pain. They do offer shift-clicking multiple jobs when you deliver, but nothing when installing... (which takes a lot more clicks to do too...) argh!

it dosent have to be something that can be macromined or something.....
Just simple:
I select 3 BPCS, I click "invent" i select my pos or whatever that has MINIMUM 3 free lines. and i just click "OK" on all flowing tabs that pop up, or i select 3 slots and then click "use line"
For manufacturing is the same.... but lets say if i put "number of runs 5" each one gets installed with 5 runs.
To make it really simple just state all bpcs/os/wtfs have to be the same, has to be same pos module/assembly line and thats it. If they cut out just 1 click i will be happy. and no PRESSING ENTER DOES NOT HELP!!!!!!
What do you guys think how many pages do we have to make out of this topic for somebody to actually care....

I especially love the "personal assembly lines" if you are a female char it would make sense but not for us guys

Hell, if you could just have a "remember settings" button that would at least keep the same selections, such as Entire Univerise, Corporation (for type of slot). The biggest pain to me was having to re-select those options every time I want to install to a POS slot. Sheesh.
