Originally by: Jackie Fisher No they are not although the A spelling is common on the internet. Dreadnought was a specific individual historic ship and use of the name for ship types is copied from this.
Doesn't matter. The HMS Dreadnought may have been spelled that way, but that ship, in turn, took its name from the general word dreadnought, which can also be spelled dreadnaught since naught and nought are the same word (albeit hailing from different eras).

Doesn't alter the fact that in this context it is named after the specific ship you mention and therefore should follow the same spelling.

Homeworld and Star Wars both use the spelling Dreadnaught for a size class of vessels, unless I've gone completely bonkers. But if you say you know exactly where the game designers got the inspiration for the class name, who am I to argue with you? -----

Northeners won the war, so by definition: All of the buggers are now yanks :P
The bit about the pies sounds nice though.

I actually rather like it when I see players using out of context terms like quest and guild. It tells me they are noobs and are going to be easy to subvert.

Armour is definately one that annoys me, mind you I can't spell very well. In fact I originally spelt my own name wrong when I made my main character but I now prefer it and it has been with me for 4 years now.

This has got to be a troll, right? No one is this anal retentive.
I mean, unless you are like some of the people I have stumbled across now and then, that seem absurdly obsessed with proper punctuation to the point that they put a period on quite literally every sentence they type, even in the heat of battle.
