Doesn't matter. The HMS Dreadnought may have been spelled that way, but that ship, in turn, took its name from the general word dreadnought, which can also be spelled dreadnaught since naught and nought are the same word (albeit hailing from different eras).

Im ammar and so i use ammar freignters. i could of bin galante or minmatter but i choos ammar for there turrents. Lazers are perty with there colors like bloo and purpel you know? I also like duel reppering harbringers with puls lazers. Y? i dont know reeley...Diemos is cool ship too bro. Kestral is small with lauzy rokkets..Rohk is cool like shotgun and long reng.
Anyone pulled out his/her hair and teeth yet? Nails are fine too.

Homeworld and Star Wars both use the spelling Dreadnaught for a size class of vessels, unless I've gone completely bonkers. But if you say you know exactly where the game designers got the inspiration for the class name, who am I to argue with you?
