[31] Engeneering of lvl4 and 2 reactor control units are enough to bring the iterion V's powercore up to 50. For a Powercore 30 Indy you would need 4 reactor control units and Engeneering lvl4 to fit a MWD. |

[33] Only a bestower have 4 low slots and have 30 max power. Other 30 max power Indy only have 3 low slots. Maybe they'll add more ship configurations. |

[35] To Ilia Volyova: Great post with detailed explanations. Too bad some people just did not listed. To DJvGalen : I think you need to read more, and write less. Ilia gave you a perfect explanation on the topic, which helped clear up the confusion you caused with mis-information. Yet you basicly ignored it and posted more mis-information. DO YOU EVEN READ THE SKILL? Or do you just make up your own explanations for them. There are 3 different system stats on ships related to module install: CPU - amount of cpu for installing modules. Grid - amount of power for installing modules. Capacitor -rapid power for USING modules. If something does not say it effects POWERGRID then it does not effect power grid. CPU & Cap are not POWERGRID. So the reason Energy Grid upgrade did not give any points to POWERGRID, IS THAT IS DOES NOT GIVE ANY POINTS FOR POWERGRID! It is not a bug. If you read the skill it states it reduces the CPU requirement of upgrade systems. Hence lvl5 Enegy Grid Upgrade is +0 points to POWERGRID (however it would reduce the CPU requirement for upgrade systems by 25%). Also CCP has not changed the ship stats from last patch (except they added 1 medium slots to some cruisers & battleships). They did change the stats from some items which may have affected you ship. To anyone else: The ONLY skill that affects POWERGIRD directly is egineering PERIOD. There are some modules which increase POWERGRID: Basic Reactor Control Unit +5% POWEGRID Reactor Control Unit +10% POWERGIRD Basic Diagnostic System* +2.5% POWERGRID Power Diagnostic System* +5% POWERGRID *Note: Power Diag also adds bonuses to shield, hp, and cap. Also the bonuses stack so if you had 1 Diag System, 1 Reactor Control Unit, Engineering V and your base power grid is 35 the you would have 1.25*1.10*1.05*35 = 50.5 power unit. (I think it rounds down to 50). In my opinion engineering is a skill you may want to train early, and max quickly. Simply because it boost the major limiter to heavy weaponry on any ship. Even on cruisers a +25% to POWERGRID is very important. |

[37] There is one other skill that effects powergrid from memory, its the shield upgrade skill, gives 5% reduction in powergrid needs of shield upgrades. |

[39] Death and taxes: CCP IS constantly altering module specs, I know because I had 6 MW free when I logged off sunday and monday it was back to 1 MW with my shield booster turned off. Anyway, I removed the misinformation that I took straight from eve-i.com. ------------------------------------------------ CCP please fix your patch so I can play with my corpmates again soon. |

[41] I read all the topics in this thread about Energy and Power, they were very helpful. There are so many skilled people playing this game. This is my first online experience in a game like this. I am inquiring at Denver University in Denver Colorado if there is a course given about understanding on how to plays this game. Maybe it will be called "Eve-Online 101" Basic Understanding of the Mechanics of Eve-Online. |

And the answer is Advanced Weapon Upgrades, a skill which obviously didn't exist back in 2003. |
