Pandemic Legion? They seem to have vanished from the Alliance map. I heard nothing of them being disbanded. Did I miss something?

PL are still very much alive and appear to be doing well in Geminate.
PL were hit hard by IT and were given little to no help from their allies Goons, to that end they could not withstand the IT forces and were kicked out of Fountain.
PL will be fine and I'm sure will be seen again in the alliance Tournament.

Ok just to sum it up:
PL lost their Space to the IT invasion of Fountain. Since the invasion, they lost about 500 members and all souverenity. We will see if they stay intact and get back to 0.0 (have no doubt they will, if they dont collapse).
Actually they are out of 0.0 affairs afaik.
No one could blame them anyways.

They lost 4 titans in one battle in one of the first significant capital battle after dominion as a result of IT having the grid loaded but not GS/PL/SoT.
Pilots on the scene reported 'dreadnoughts still floating in space 8 hours after they've been killed before moved to a station by a GM as they manually clean up the mess they made.' and there are lingering rumours of some pilots being reimbursed multiple times, some pilots being reimbursed and keeping their hull and some pilots getting neither. One pilot complained "I've taken so much hull damage I can't undock, and there is no repair facility in this station."
I'm not sure any alliances could handle the loss of 4 titans in one battle without some significant soulsearching and PL have now reset everyone and gone to roam among the stars. (Geminate)
[Reports suggesting that the NC tried to warn PL in advance of the issue remain unverified at this time.]
