Your correct, its only available for buy orders. I might be adding support for sell orders as well. Its not as useful as for buy orders but still might be worth it. I'll let you know when its there.. -- EVE Trade Master - Web based market analysis, asset- and order tracking. |

Again,
I get an error message when uploaing my market files. When it is retreiving Jita data it says "an error occured". I am downloading it from my marketlogs. I love the look of the program and would gladly make a donation if I could only get it to work

is it posible to make a view where you can see your total sales on each item in numbers, like
biocells total 5.000.000 veldspar total 100.000.000
So its posible to keep track of revenue on each product.
Best regards

You can check your profits by item type in the market orders section. Its useful for comparing orders as it only shows values for the last couple of days (same as show in the line graph). Its also based on revenue, not quantities. -- EVE Trade Master - Web based market analysis, asset- and order tracking. |

Hey dude,
I've been using your tool and its pretty awesome. However, I have one suggestion-It's getting kind of hard to track total profits(or maybe i need to rtfm). I can see from the Profit by item type section that you can see the profits broken down per item type, but if it could also have a footer on the graph that would give you the total profit for all the items added up that would be great.
Anyway, thanks for a great tool dude, keep up the good work!

Also dude, looks like the sorting on the orders is bugged. if you mess with the filtering of open/filled/closed orders then the ability to sort alphabetically by item type or quantity etc gets bugged up.

Please be aware that the orders page was really just designed to track individual orders profit wise. I'm planning to add a new accounting module that will allow you to generate financial statements and shows you a nice weekly report how you are doing. But there are several technical restrictions I have to solve first. Also its a pretty comprehensive endeavour.

first of all: the etm rocks! i found it to be exactly what i was looking for regarding tracking current transactions. especially the manual trigger of updates is unique in web-based tools as far as i know... so i can finally get a look at the most recent movements. two things happened to crossed my mind anyway:
1. it's not showing list contents in the iphone safari browser. this is not to grave a shortcoming, but would be nice to have... but on the other hand my 3g is all messed up since ios 4 or it might be a glitch in the mobile connection or the individual device, no way for me to know as i lack the technical background...
2. regarding the up-to-dateness of the data: as i suppose it's kind of a necessity to limit updates to a 50-60 minute cycle i would have appreciated a possibility to uncheck the auto-update-option once it was enabled. i only could manage to deactivate it by erasing my api-key and adding it again. now i can trigger the update when i need the data and that works great for me. but, again, i'm using an up to date safari on macos 10.5, don't know if some more standard browsers perform differently...
altogether i'd like to stress again: these are no real shortcomings from my perspective - it's just the feedback on minor issues i noticed. i just love the clear and open design of the page and am crazy about the service as a whole. expect my donations on a regular basis as soon as i get online again!!!
and keep up the great work, fly safe and have fun - cheers,

Hey JonnSmith Thanks for your feedback and donation. Let me respond to some of your points. 1) I don't own an iPhone. Do you know any emulator I could use instead for page optimization? So far Safari worked fine on windows with ETM, but I guess it could use some tweaking for mobiles. 2) Theres a fixed limit on how often you are allowed to poll the EVE API for current data. Theres no way around it for any 3rd party app. As for disabling the auto-update feature for certain characters please try to uncheck all characters from the list using ctrl key (or apple equivalent) and save. That should work just fine. Let me know if you have any other questions.

hi Ivy,
thx for the reply! as far as i know there's an iphone simulator within the apple iphone sdk, but since it's macOS only it's probably not going to be of any use for you. there are however a number of different aproaches for windows users, but again, i'm not to technical. i found this by browsing the search engines:
http://www.iphonestalk.com/iphone-simulator-released-for-windows/
but i got really anoyed with the iOS 4 version for the 3g and did a downgrade, and good-news-everybody: it's working like a charm now.
right now the deselect issue is also not reproducable anymore, so ditch my feedback except for the cheers and fame ;)
thx again and keep up the nice work!!!
fly safe and have fun,
J

This is looking quite promising. A question however - you're not running ssl on this (a g-apps issue as far as I know). Are you planning on building an ssl transaction gateway or similar?

Login authentication is secured. The pages could be served through secure connection. But since the EVE API is only plain http, your API data will be routed unencrypted through the net anyways. -- EVE Trade Master - Web based market analysis, asset- and order tracking. |
