I'm using Nvidia Geforce FX 5600 256mb vid card and sometimes my game totally crashes the computer. Nothing wrong with the computer although I have to restart it each time it happens. All I do is exiting/undocking a station. I can't say if the sun is involved as I (currently) can't remember if the station exit/camera were facing it when I docked. This glitch/bug/cookie is not just ATI related.

Right, my client just froze, I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del a few times and got this nice little blue screen:
------------------------------ A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
The problem seems to be caused by the following file: nv4_disp
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly.
Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.
Technical information: ***STOP: 0x000000EA (0x85C63DA8, 0x85A0A3A0, 0x85C35BE8, 0x00000001)
nv4_disp Beginning dump of physical memory
------------------------------
Restarted at no more blue screenie. Now, the thing is, I didn't have this problem yesterday. So it just recently surfaced due to some unkown thing. Did CCP do something serverside?

I already did disable that sun thing (although I couldn't find it anywhere in prefs.ini - strange). The problem remained. Funny though it hasn't happened on my Amarr character only on my Gallente character. Could it be the stations? *shrug*
(Racial bonuses eh?)
