people are using the forum logoffski trick to get around it anyway. Time flux for trial accounts, paid get to post as often as they like. Deals with 99% of spammer/hackers if they have to pay 30 bucks to post quickly. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

If a genie popped out of a bottle and granted me one wish for EVE, I wouldn't even hesitate.
All I want out of EVE is to reduce travel time again. Get rid of Warp to Zero and add a rank 2 skill called Warp Calibration that lets you warp 2km closer to a gate per level trained. Remove Jump Bridges from the game entirely OR make them highly fuel inefficient so that alliances will only use them during emergencies. Remove jump freighter ability to use jump drives anywhere, and restrict them to 0.0 use only.
Make moving people and equipment an important part of the game again, where people who don't have the time or inclination will pay people for their freighter services.
The game had so much more of an vast and expansive feeling when travel was more difficult... it also made the game more tense and edgy because getting out of 0.0 with a crapload of good ore/items was an actual risk instead of 3 jump bridges and a jump freighter away from complete safety.

People talked about this a lot when wtz first came out. Assuming instas still won't exist, all this will do is create a timesink for most players. That is to say, such a skill would be mandatory to train unless you wanna get ganked constantly.
My two biggest wishes:
1) Bring back the oldschool nanophoon  2) Fix lowsec (pretty obvious).

On a similar vein to making travel time longer to make the universe feel larger, I'd make each individual solar system more significant.
I'd put as many stations and asteroid belts in one solar system as are currently in a whole constellation. Some would be orbiting planets and moons, but there would also be way-stations in the middle of deep space. You would never even need to leave the solar system because the market hub would be on the station orbiting the third planet there rather than 23 solar systems away at Jita.
With all this activity in a single system, 0.0 would feel eerily empty until the massive starships not allowed in high-security space cyno right on top of you.

Wish list for next two expansions:
1. Incarna
2. Rewamp to asteroid ( design feel and looks really bad compared to planets now ) / mining / industry ( more fun more involving )
3. Comets as random movable celestial objects that block directional scanners depanding how far you are small medium big huge , mining them as well.
4. T3 frigates .
5. Interface update ( info windows cleaner better looking etc ) .
6. Planetary interaction when DUST 514 comes.

missions-on missions where u are to intercept a convoy- dont have the npc just floating around stupidly bumpinto each other, have them in a actual convoy- a formation or something
npc- have a hub up display that show npc chat, smack talk or improve on the local hub- better ai for npc's
ships- individualize the moduale display for all ships so each ship hub is different
missions- on important missions have epic cenimatic camrea angles that show ur ships and enemy ships up close before u start lockin each other down
ships- bein able to walk inside ships, also dockin with other ships, also an out of ship type of experience where u say actually salvage by hand to get better stuff- u can still do regular salvage but its not as rewarding- all ships can be configured for walkin and pod useage -walkin takes extraa trainin
space- setin up ur own little hideout in space sort of like pos, or a station, just a little something to call ur own liviing hangout space- besides in stations, or on certian ships -can be attacked in war
stargates- can be ran by different corps for corp member bounuses but cant be attacked. walk in stargates
npc- npc help in missions or esscorts etc, workin along side npc characters- ever so often npcs would attack stations in high sec the stations can be defended by players and npcs and players get special rewards for doin so say 1 hour of train a skill etc- this would be broadcasted in local
trade-putin to use trade goods so there is a real need for them by all players ex need for food, drink, slaves, millitants, dancers, blocks, ketcup, - recyclein waste
economy-incorperating all the needs of say a city into the game in stations like and actual need for doctors, lawyers etc
advertisment-more advertisement boards, bigger ones, even players can advertise on them, produce them to sell them- the ability to start ur own buisness like u create ur own corp
bounty hunting- improveing the bounty hunting system to where u can actualy capture a player and turn him in and he has to sit in an acttual jail for a few hours and loses an implant- also a system that shows stats on who caught who, so u got a bounty hunter rankin
docking with other ships istead of dropin a cargo container to trade items in space or orca style for battlecruiser and up item swap
ability to get tech 3 or 4 items for regular ships ex raven ,armagedon, condor- to be able to make walkin in ships configurations, mainly for mineinships industrials, and the option wold be available to all ships
lag from to many ppl in a solorsystem- have a few constalations on diffrent servers, and when u use a stargate to get to a differnt server have an epic warp cutscene
an alt detection device requires advance science and leadership skills
exploration class ship that can fit hacking. salvager, tractorbeams, and still put out decent dps
salvageing drones
dockin in motherships and walkin around
endgame mothership that can warp jump by itself
sp dropin boss battles
dam this game would rock even more thanku ccp for such a great game!

1. Replace targeting with FPS style aiming and joystick support. 2. Remove jump gates and replace with a "calculate parameters for jumpdrive" system that will suicide you if you calculate yourself into a planet or other structure. 3. Get rid of warp drive. You want to escape, fly faster than the other guy. You want to get to the station or next system faster, see point 2.

A 3rd API key that you can disable specific pulls on. Non static belts only. More Aura voices (esp "Duct tape failing" when in hull in Minnie ships). Ability to jump to objects from a gate rather than only a choke pointgate in another system. Medium graphics setting so I can play on my Linux box (again). Separate volume setting for station noises (The chanting is driving me insane - even OUTSIDE the station).

I want ships with a coherent shape.
I think the ships in Eve have no logic. Each machine should have physic characteristics explained by it's function. Ships should be made to enter stations. Combat ships should be stocky Industrial ship, cargo should be made of containers. ****pit, or Piloting Tower should be placed to have a good view on all the ship...
And I want new animations in space and visuals for the fits.

- DDs becoming AoE again but only in a straight line in front of them, with destructive power decreasing as they deal damage to ships and also decreasing depending on the target's distance from the source.
- Sound (no really, I mean actual sound instead of the noises we have right now) and much more Aura in my EVE.
- Cynos and all the other cool effects back.
- A new UI, not really a redesign of the current one (though that would help too) but one that didn't cause so many performance issues. I mean... things like disabling brackets to boost fleet fight perfomance. Really?
- Etc. Etc. will add later when I'm not supposed to be working.  |

Thread from 2007, 16 signed pages, countless other similar suggestion threads, and still nothing. EVE would really benefit from dedicated dual (even more than dual) monitor support. Until then, sigh, we'll continue to move panels around cluttered screen, over and over and over and over...
