Did you have Audio enabled? No
Did you have brackets turned on? No at first, Then turned to on to be responded by extreme lag and FPS drop, then turned back off with no lag but still low FPS (although not as low)
Average FPS during the test(s) 3-6FPS
Did you notice any desyncs during the test? No
On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) I don't know as I haven't been in fleet fights of this size in a while. But in my opinion it was 8.
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc. I thought that things went pretty smoothly. FPS was low with all effects except turrets and explosions turned off, although this was excepted with my computer. Response time of modules, with brackets turned on, was horrible, but turned off things were a lot smoother. I was zoomed at a moderate distance from my pod/ship with relatively smooth gameplay. Even with the low FPS things still felt really smooth. I tried turning on missiles but the huge explosions caused by torpedos would really mess things up so I turned them back off. Turrets didn't cause much problems and even when I turned on explosions things weren't bad. Jumping into the fight caused minimal loading time from what I excepted. There was a small pause when loading the new system and for a quick second my overview showed nothing, but this quickly changed as I saw ships appearing around me and my overview was flooded with contacts.
There was a bug after I was podded both times where it would appear that turrets were still shooting at me although nobody was and even more weird was when I tracked the source from one of the battleship lasers it was comming from the center of a Minmatar dread(can't remember the name right now). What was really weird is that although the lasers were comming from the dread it was coming from the center and not any turrets, it was using projectiles as I did see it shoot its turrets at something else.
I did see some people talking about lag in local, but I think this was because some had their brackets on or effects on or graphics turned up or whatever, but form me, even with 3-7 FPS I thought things went very smoothly. Good job and I hope I get a similar experience on TQ.
