Machine and Test Info
Which test you were in : August 19 @ 20:00
OS version : Windows 7 32-Bits
CPU : i7 950
GPU : geforge gtx 285
RAM : 6 gb
User Experience Moving the fleet through gates was horribly slow, though at least we didnt blackscreen, first jump was the worst several minutes to jump then finding I had e warped. I kept auto repeat on, it seemed to work okay, guns would cycle without firing but would eventually shoot again, drones responded really fast, guns and modules were much slower, changing ammo for a different crystal was a big no-no, they just got stuck for minutes and needed several empty to cargo/reload clicks. Once the bombs had cleared the drones/fighters from the final fight lag was reduced significantly and it was very playable.
Did you have Audio enabled? yes, used eve voice, it worked fine but had the usual problems of it struggling once 100 people try logging in to it.
Did you have brackets turned on? yes
Average FPS during the test(s) 20ish
Did you notice any desyncs during the test? yes seemd to struggle getting my point onto ships within range got a few out of range messages, but pont was slow to activate so maybe they had drifted out of range by the time it was gonna switch on.
On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ ? 7, apart from the horrible jump lag, combat perfomed decently.
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions... Many people didnt know what they had to do, generally the ones who have never been on the test server before, perhaps send an evemail to every account on sisi with basic which channels to join info and how the moveme channels work. Please come up with ammusing punishments for idiots who do their best to mess up tests, fleet members killing our own bombers ccp konflict spawned was just plain stupid.
The fleet window lies to you, it told me I was in wing one squad 3, when I was really in wing 5 sqaud 1 , annoying when you try to find whether your wing has commanders in place cos you cant see where you are.
