Being able to do this is strategy. With missiles it's a litle different, because when someone fires them at you you're in the wrong ship at the wrong speed at the wrong disctance no matter what... Being unable to do anything against it is ridiculous.

And one of the previous posters said that you can just move fast to make turrets miss. Then wtf does happen of you fly 3000 m/s and somebody shoots missiles at you? I have never seen any missiles move that fast. And no your not supose to be invoulnerable towards raven pilets by just fitting a coupple of SB. Even tho its possible. And you got defender missiles. an apoc with 2 assault missile launchers with defenders is pretty much safe from a Raven Pilot when not even half of the missiles get through. And btw my 8 Megapulses with multycrystals does more damage than 6 siege launchers. Tempest is still very good with a close range setup, not to mention it is always underestimated. Megathron is still good, it has been consistantly good for along time and is the least likely ship to see serious nerfing in the long run. If i was only allowed to fly one races ships it would be gallente. Domi is sorta weird but people have found ways to make then work such as a suckinix and such. It also has very good defensive capabilities. typhoon this one actually is in need of help. It has been lost since it got hit with pretty much every nerf of recent memory. ravens are not supreme. High skillpoint pilots are wasted on the raven. It is a favorite of pvp newbies and low sp characters. When they fly it pretty much any other bship in the hands of an experienced pilot can take them. I can fly every races tech 1 ships in this game . I have at one time or another used them all and the raven is the most boring peice of garbage in existance. it handles like a brick, missles are boring and you have little room to make yourself better. Dual mwds were sorta fun but just abused way to much. Your biggest desision while flying the thing is what missles you load. as for setups there is 2 types of setups on a raven. a variation on the standard shield tank 6 siege and 2 nos or a garbage setup. If they are using the standard setup u should know how to deal with it. if they are using a crap setup they will lose regardless. Only thing it has for it beyond any other bs. is that it can be amazing at anti frig. now i dont think thats a bad thing their should be one that is really great at that. And the only fun to be had in a raven is flying it against a horde of frigates. I will never understand why people fear missles so much. Is it the boom? the fact you can see them coming at you? what about them makes them so scary to so many? And they supposedly fixed missle rock thus elimanating the only thing that was at all truely scary about the raven. ______________ Aim careful, and look the devil in the eye.

The typhoon is an excellent 1on1 Apoc slayer with the right setup: 4x Cruiser Launcher 4x Heavy Nosferatu Decent armor tank + MWD + holding equipment (scramblers/disruptors) yes, this is possible i have seen it myself. As long as the apoc has cap, you can suck it and use it to tank its damage output. When the apoc's cap is dry you BOTH lose your tanking ability but unlike the apoc, you still have damage output. Damage output is very small though so itll take a while, but if you keep nos'ing him with 4x nos delayed activation his cap will keep dry and even loses his hardeners. ----------------------------------------------- Watch my leet everchanging dynamic signature \o/ http://www.games-on.nl/~cu2moro/evesigphp/icon.php?blaat=.GIF

Acctually acording to another post on this board missiles were changed to intercept targets, not follow them, so they can hit targets that are faster then themselves if that target is moving in any direction that allows the missile to intercept its course...
