Akita,
I'd like to troll in this thread.
But I can't. Your posting looks like it's written by an 8 year old that suffers from Alzheimer and I simply wouldn't know where to start.
Let me just summarize the highlights as a tl;dr version for the hundreds of people who are going to be linked here just to laugh at your dementia:
- You think you influenced a decision about the CORE PRINCIPLE of Eve. XD - You think the economy doesn't work because the price of minerals is determined by the .. market. (See also: "It can't possibly NOT work; It's player-driven"...by..you. ) - You think economy is a sector that you either play or don't play in. At this point I was about to fart my brain out from laughter, by the way.
I didn't/couldn't read all of that crap, so: I anyone wants to add to this list, feel free. You'd make it easier for the rest of us.

Having access to data does not mean you can analyse/understand it.
[/thread], sadly.

I think what Akita is trying to say is: He hired Dr.EyjoG and he can fire him again!

There's a difference between having a MINOR interest with prices of goods (because you sell stuff you kill in missions, or manufacture stuff, or buy stuff to blow your enemies up), there's another thing altogether to make all your ISK from knowing how the economy works and investing properly. The former have barely a passing knowledge as to what goes on under the hood (like you have shown you do), the latter... well, they know better (you don't).
XDDDDD
What a long winded **** for a simple "NO U"
Here's something for you to put a cross in:
"I, Akita, think economy is a sector that you either play or don't play in": [ ] Yes [ ] No

[x] OTHER
False dichotomy FTW.
The question was whether you would think or not think that playing in Eve's economy or not is a binary choice or not. That is a binary question in itself, and you chose OTHER. This thread just died for the second time due to intellectual checkmate.

The question you ask is binary, while it's about something nonbinary. Therefore, your question poses a false dilemma. You're trying to bind Akita to an extreme, when the answer could've been, for example, "not sure", which doesn't match the implications of either answer. Therefore, it's also a loaded question.
Have you stopped beating your slaves yet?
...Hint: If he does NOT think that you either participate in the economy or not and that someone can participate more or less, than the tick must be set at "No".
And the log out button is to your left. Bai.
