At downtime March 1st 2010, C0ven resets standings to Systematic Chaos alliance.
Detailed reasons for this decision are described below. We are aware that big boys may intervene, however this is a game and there are things more important (and more fun) then space. We have not reset any standings besides SYS-K, we will however respond immediately to any cases of blue fire.
To make everything crystal clear - we are not resetting SYS-K because we have grudge against this alliance nor because we want their space. We reset them, because Liam Freemen, the absolute ruler of SYS-K can no longer be trusted as an ally. We have no quarrel with majority of SYS-K members, however SYS-K is a dictatorship ran by Liam and that makes you our enemies.
SYS-K vs SE/C0ven - the anatomy of conflict.
Rewind 2+ years, before anyone ever heard of StainWagon and its members. SE and C0ven were fighting against each other and Deus Ex - then Liam's alliance. Few months later we SE and C0ven started to cooperate against MASS and Red Alliance - this was the original beginings of our cooperation. It has developed into a more permanent situation and we started to consider going after goon-held esoteria. At this stage Liam reformed his alliance into SYS-K and approached us about him joining the Eso operation. After some thought we have agreed to let Liam in on the op and so StainWagon was born.
It took a few tries and a lot of time to actually conquer Esoteria over a year ago. We have settled and continued fight against goons, mostly in accord with our allies and in remote areas. SYS-K used this time to absorb huge numbers of people, but our relationships have been straight (bare some minor disagreements on lands etc) until maybe few months ago.
As SYSK grew and Liam started to feel strong, he became most arrogant. Took decisions in name of StainWagon (even though it always was a loose relationship, based on loyalty and indepdence), he started calling himself the chief of SW.... used it as a leverage to build some political clout with the big boys and followed by a lot of brown-nosing.
With his ego growing faster then alliance it became visible how his loyalty to the people who helped him build his empire diminishes.
First check, Period Basis rush - Liam offered us some moons for the support (as we didnt want space) as he was organizing this rush being the most desperate for new space, which ended being the same moons he offered to IT to keep them happy after he claimed the region dependant on them.
Second check, the -A- alt corp freighter we have accidentaly blew up and the hothead pvpers :) who caused unnecesary escalation... while SE clearly declared to support us if **** hits the fan, Liam decided to sit on the fence declaring "neutrality".
Third check, when SE reset IT for roams (we really believe NIPs can work and would be preferable to NAPs) and IT came to enforce they will Liam closed his station to SE and invited IT to operate from his stations. At this moment SYSK directors started publicily stating SYSK are no longer members of StainWagon.
Fourth check we were led to believe that recent rush for last Esoteria constellation (which was since begining declared to be a common ground) is a first step to claiming entire Esotera and removing SE and C0ven presence by any means necessary - therefore we are merely pre-empting the plan Liam already set in motion.

Stain Empire and Coven are the only alliances down south with actual balls.
That said, say goodbye to your space because Sys-K is just better in diplomacy and sucking up to the big boys than you are.

first check: nobody raised a finger, so one offers something until someone claims the offered goods -> called diplomacy & negotiations
second check: someone messes with some common friends and a not involved party doesn't go for blindfolded pseudo-loyalty -> called diplomacy and adult behaviour
third check: you are resetting the biggest powerbloc which sits next door -for giggles- and are wondering why someone you ignored when deciding upon the reset takes the side of the offended while NOT shooting you... -> yep, that's so, so.... so... totally bad!
I respect the inegrity of Coven and the skills of the involved players, but making up s... to prove your point and telling "if u are not with us, you are against us" is childish and hot-headed.

to me it seems funny how selfcentered assumptions and blindness for facts can lead to a situation like we are now facing.

SE informed IT they would reset them to have "good fights", IT responded by telling them they are not interested in "good fights" and will invade them in full force if SE reset them. Liam (sys-k leader) tried to convince SE not to be foolish. Liam informed them sys-k will not be taking sides since both SE and IT were our allies. SE still went on with resetting IT and were shortly after invaded. At that point it was unclear where coven would side. It was sys-k's hope that unlike SE they would see reason.
Now it is clear that coven will be helping SE (which is to be somewhat commendable) and apparently try to make sys-k look like the bad guys for trying to resolve this diplomatically instead of rushing head first in to a (most likely) hopeless situation.

Judging by the past, I don't see SE/c0ven in a grave any time soon. They've proved time and again that they're one of the best pvp groups flying around in EVE.
May the pewpew be plentiful for both sides.

Ye, I love playing EVE... Especially because of the diplomacy and talking... Kinda gets the blood to boil... 
Now a more interesting question, Liam, where does your loyalty stand? IT or -A-? When those 2 alliances cross horns in the future, to which side will you turn for cover? I gotta agree with the ex-Delve dwelling worm there, dont see IT or -A- helping you on this one. Plus, you are defending space. Coven and SE have a battle hardened group constantly dwelling in Stain. They are far more superior then you at station games, roams, ganks, putting pressure. And lets not forget Brick Squad. Im pretty sure they will take a side in this hostile encounter. Not officially, of course. Somehow I dont see them siding with Systematic Chaos.
Also, SE and Coven are pvpers. Which makes them a very, very valuable asset in any global encounter. You, my friend, are merely a statistic which brings in isk. And anyone, basically any alliance, who wanna sit home in their granted space and take care of the household can do that. So you are expendable. A mere combustion of numerics, functions and mathematics in an Excel worksheet when it comes to paying taxes.
The Legacy of Stain will endure.
The Legacy of Shame will die with SYS-K... Shame on you for turning your backs on such a valiant force! Booooooooo!
