Greetings people.
I have finally collected enough bits of lore and made my way through epic arcs and COSMOS missions, to open up my site to a greater audience.
Besides containing a lorebook, where I collect bits of prime fiction that are found in game around New Eden, I have also made guides for the various COSMOS constellations and epic arcs. So far only the Amarr high sec constellation is fully covered, but I have stuff on the others too, that I might release later in a presentable format.
Three of the four empire epic arcs are just about covered except for a few details, and number four arc is under work. Here is a quick introduction to what each contain:
Amarr (Right to Rule) Plot: Work with the Ministry of Internal Order to uncover why Sansha's Nation is targeting the local holder Lord Miyan. Or maybe protecting the unpopular Touraj Miyan is a foolish ordeal; he is seemingly not fit to be a ruler and puts Amarrian traditions at risk. Maybe the Sansha are not really targeting him as a person, but because the weakness he impose upon the Empire. But why would the Sansha do that?
Summery: A quite combat orientated arc with many encounters against Sansha's Nation. Not much variation in mission objectives, nor in number of path ways, but it does allow you to work under Sansha's Nation which is by default awesome and you will be rewarded valuable faction standing too. Further, it also have some pretty challenging final encounters, which can provide lots of entertainment.
Caldari (Penumbra) Plot: The Practical aligned Nugoeihuvi Corporation is looking for a capsuleer to help them uncover some oddities regarding Caldari POWs in the Black Rise region. Operations such as these require fundings and the Liberal aligned Hyasyoda Corporation seems to have broken a few unwritten laws and have its valuables laying around free for the taking. Perhaps it would be wiser to side with Hyasyoda instead of making them upset. A Caldari Navy general in Black Rise is wondering where the Ishukone POWs have been taken and why some Caldari are more important than other Caldari.
Summery: The most advanced arc encountered so far with multiple paths and variation in mission objectives. Does require trips to low security space, but that what being epic is all about.
Minmatar (Wildfire) Plot: The Brutor tribe is digging in Minmatar history and is not going to let anybody stop them, not even the Gallente. Though, finding a Wildfire Khumaak makes them very puzzled. Also, the Republic Security Services seems to know more than they would like to tell, or maybe they have simply lost track of their own operations. There seems to be a hidden truth about the Starkmanir uprising that is worth a lot to some people.
Summery: Short arc with just about no different paths. Good variation in missions and a very interesting story to follow.

Nice job. That's a lot of time and work that you've done so far.
The Amarr Cosmos Level 1 to Level 3 Agent missions should be done in a certain order. I have the link to a guide about it listed in my post - Faction Standing Repair Plan
I still need a good walk-thru guide for the Amarr Level 4 Cosmos Agent missions and also one for all of the Caldari Cosmos Agent Missions.
Maybe later if you happen to get those you can notify me so I could include it in the 'Plan'. Also if you want, you can include my 'Plan' in the site you created. (Just a thought)

A shame, for a moment I thought CCP might actually have released info on an official tome of lore related information.
Silly me.

I think that's probably other users of the same host putting up malware sites. The HTML for the lorebooks seems pretty clean to me. Doesn't even have any javascript.
Looks good actually - nice simple design.

I can say that I wrote each and every page line by line by hand in a simple text editor, so how any malware can sneak into there seems quite puzzling to me. I do not link to anything except my own pages.
Though the host sounds too good to be true (free webhost, no adds required) they seems quite upfront about it. And their webtools are well developed while still being easy to assess.
I know enough about software and the Internet to know that I like it simple to reduce risk and connection load. I do not trust any software; not dodgy homepages full of malware nor Google Safe Browsing which is overzealous in its reports. In fact it seems like it is only because I told the Google webcrawlers to index my site that it is now suddenly listed as "dangerous" Sheesh... now I properly have to contact Google to get some real intelligence involved. ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute

The fact of the matter is that your host has so much of it that it makes your content questionable by association. It's also possible that their actual servers are compromised, which means malicious code could be inserted into your own pages at any time.
Find a different host, and I'll be happy to see what you've come up with.

It seems to me that Google has taken my site off the "naughty" list. So all is good.

Edited by: Jowen Datloran on 25/03/2010 20:15:36 Update 25/03/10: I have run the Caldari epic arc a couple of times more and should now have run every mission in the arc at least once. As result, I have updated the guide to version 1.0.
To my surprise were there a branch point mission (Too Close for Comfort) and an encounter mission (The Crimson Decoy) which I did not have knowledge about previously. It is rather awesome of CCP to "hide" a mission away in all those branch options, especially when, as for this one, you need to go to no security space to even get the option for the mission. Sadly, it is a big letdown that The Crimson Decoy is not very special as a mission and you do not get a funky souvenir item in that mission either. Wasted opportunity, if you ask me.
It has also come to my attention that all final missions now provide faction standing rewards besides any special item rewards. As the standing increase is the same for all endings it has now become rather pointless to even consider doing the Home in Peace final mission, as this one does not provide any item rewards. Though, for people with little combat skills (or strong moral feelings) it might still be a viable option. ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute

That is indeed a great guide, if you are just interested in completing the missions that is.
I am mostly interested in the lore and story surrounding the missions though, so maybe I should finish this half done Caldari COSMOS guide soon. I will have enough to do until Tyrannis then. ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute

Thanks, that is a good guide with a complete listing of all the Caldari Cosmos Agents and the missions they offer.
However, I'm actually looking for a guide with a bit more information, such as which area inside the DED Deadspace complexes where the mission items are located, which NPC's have the mission items, type and amount of enemy ships that will be encountered, type of ships recommended to complete the missions, etc.
Simply put, a walk-thru guide.

Update 19/04/10: A guide for the Guristas epic arc has been added to the collection.
Guristas (Smash and Grab) Plot: The Caldari Navy is encroaching on the Guristas home turf in Venal and the Guristas stand proud together shoulder by shoulder to fight them back. But something or somebody is rotten in the Guristas brotherhood and an old internal feud is damaging the unity of the Guristas.
Summary: All missions are located in Venal (no security space) and few offers the option of remote acceptance and/or completion. Good variation in mission objectives with new elements not previously encountered (traversing minefield, suicide run). ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute

Nice guides. My only suggestion would be to include specific info about the location of each mission. This would be particularly useful for the Gurista arc, where considerable advance scouting may be needed to plan how to avoid the local hostiles.
I look forward to your Caldari COSMOS guide!

Well, pirates that live near gurista arc missions probably already know the details from friends or having run it themselves. The guide, on the other hand, will be used by people that have never been to Venal before.

Update 24/04/10: A guide for the Angel epic arc has been added to the collection. One introduction mission is missing, but that is a minor issue.
Angel(Angel Soundb) Plot: Wormholes have provided economical prosper for both the capsuleers of New Eden as well as its criminal elements such as the Angel Cartel. Both the Guristas and Sansha are trying to get a cut but the Angels have very little tolerance towards profit poachers. Even CONCORD is sticking their nose in where it does not belong.
Summary: All missions are located in Curse(no security space) and most offers the option of remote acceptance and/or completion. Good story that provide a lot of insight into the history and current dealing of the Angel Cartel. ---------------- Mr. Science & Trade Institute - EVE Online Lorebook
