Okay, so time to share your most hilarious ways to lose your ship 
First BS that I lost is so classic that it really dosen't bother me much. Me and my friend were kinda "afk jumping in 0.0"-space and while there was noone ahead we got bored and I started humming song "supersonic elektronic" and my friend asked whats that song. So I went to google and seek it while my EVE was on background afk jumping and started showing him that music video. Halfway thru that video my friend looked to his monitor and sayd "Dude, wtf your in pod!". I instantly alt-tabbed back and there I was.. floating in my pod. Good bye my first armageddon :D.
Yesterday was another classic way to lose ship.. I was in empire, naturally afk jumping there in below 0.5 space and my friend told me to look his monitor for a second, like 10-20 sec or so and when I turn my head back to my monitor, I was floating in pod . Someone sniped me with 'geddon. Sad part is that I had my sounds on THIS time but still didn't hear anything  .
So anyone else has nice moments while losing ship?

Flying my rifter doing patrols in pureblind.
Theres a scorp and a raven at the gate scorp locks and webs while i MWD through...but i decide to fire my 2 cruise before jumping........
forgot about agression and whats worst is the missiles hit the gate not the scorp

I dunno if this any hilarous, but I still post it.
I had my first bs ever and went killing some amarrians in empire space. When I found nice target in 0.4 space, I engaged her and her thorax. It was short work ofcourse and I was happy for my succesful kill. So I set the autopilot back to minmatar space and relaxed a bit. Next thing I noticed I was in Amarr-system surrounded by dozens of npc cops, me both webbed and scrambled(cuz I didn't notice that my sec rate had gone too low to enter that secure space). Yay, my bs was goner.
If its not hilarous, its stupidity.

I was victim of my own piracy: 1 year ago i fly arround in my first Blackbird, when i scan an Omen in a 0.4 belt. I warp to him, jam and scramble him. He dies very quick. At that time miner IIs are worth a lot and i am crazy happy about 4 miner IIs surviving in his can. While looting the stuff,  my fuc.... stupid &(%$"/&$=)&?=)(? battery-mouse is empty. I am still happy when i notice this and start to search my house for new batterys. While running arround in my house i see on the screen that somebody warped into the belt - a corpmate of the guy i just killed. I grab the mouse of my other pc while my shield goes down. I plug it in and want to jam the dude, but the other mouse doesnt work, so i unplug it again, plug it again - F U U U U U C K, doesnt work. I am on armor, so i decide to deactivate my PC. After reboot the other mouse works. I am podded! I grab the battery mouse and throw it against the wall. Weird is, that i sold it later because it didnt get destroyed crashing against the wall  .

I get ganked at a gate in 0.0. That bit wasn't funny, just a run of the mill ganking. What is funny is that in the panic to avoid being subsequently podded (full set of implants installed) I scramble desperately to find my safe spot BM and warp out.
Success, my pod starts to warp and I sit back letting out a sigh of relief. Still in warp, I decide to warn my corp m8's about the gankers, completely focused on remembering the gankers names and ship types I'm not paying too much attention to what's happening on-screen (I'm warping to safe spot so nothing to worry about right?). Next thing I know, I've come out of warp BACK AT THE SAME GATE with the same bunch of Scorps and Ravens that just ganked my ass. I know that this isn't actually possible but those ships actually _looked_ surprised to see me come back for more. More panic clicking and I'm once again warping to my safe spot. This time, I remember to disable to God damned suicidal autopilot.
I could also recount the story of the time I made the classic n00b mistake of accidentally locking and firing on an Amarr Navy ship instead of a Sansha's Minion but that's not funny coz every1 does that at least once right? For weeks I was convinced that those Sansha's were l33t sk1lled bad ass ebil pirates of doom. %)

well tanking sentrys can turn every 0.4 or less into a killzone aor ppl that fire from beyond the range of sentrys "sniping" 
Who needs a shovel when you have a nice big cannon?

i was teasing the torrinos gate campers in ec-p8r in my pod.. did this for about 20 mins until when i finally wanted to leave, i forgot about having to jump after kickback, soon as i saw the gate i clicked jump..

about a year ago i entered ec-p8r my first trip into 0.0, I got ambused at the jip by biomass/space invaders, they made me eject from my badger mk I and made me wait at planet X as they said they were going to pay me for the ship.
J3tt warp scrambled me at the planet and challeged me to outrun his cruise missile, worse bit was i tried to outrun it in my pod  , splatt

The funny thing is though how i lost my first cruiser, it was when i was only few week old player and hang out in belts mining in 0.7 space with my friend.
I had just got the skill for Warp scrambler and had no idea about how it worked, so i ask if i can try it on my friend.. well that ok with him so i lock him and warp scramble, nothing happends because we where just mining not trying to warp and i¦m like wtf is this. Then I get this info "you have fool.. and so on" and think wth shortly Concord warps in and gank my ship on no time
My friend wasn¦t in the same corp as i was in.

The stories of my misadventures are numerous. If you are that interested, look for the posts started by me. There are not that many, and most are funny.
The worst gankage I ever been subjected to, besides my misadventures of trying to be a pirate, was when I was transporting about 80 mil worth of stuff from deep inside CA space to empire to be sold.
I come to a gate in my fast frigate, no instas. You know when you are driving really fast and suddenly there is an object in front of you, so you slam on the breaks, and stop an inch away from going SPLAT against a huge brick wall? That is what I saw as my frigate came out of warp 50 meters from a scorp.
What you do not see when you are driving really fast and come to a screeching halt is a strange blue and red orb of death suddenly radiating from the brick wall your face almost met. So instead of meeting the brick wall, your face comes to meet the shockwave of an amazingly beautifull, full of hues SMART BOMB OF DOOM!!!one
Alas, if only the face of the ship was meeting such beautifull things. The SMART BOMB OF DOOM!!!one also has a rather negative effect on the pod inside your ship. So in the same instant that your ship dies, the SMARTBOMB OF DOOM!!!one also does things to your unprotected body that only only happen in **** movies. And if they happen in real life, you make sure that you tell your partner "If I do this for you, will you promise me on the grave of all your deceased grandmothers that you will never tell this to anyone, and that that webcam over there on the nightstand is only for your personal use afterwards. You promise me right?"
Of course then your partner, or all 5 of them as in my ca.... I mean..... umm... yeah so I got podded.

i have a funny one.. oh no.. make that 2:
1. first BS... a shiny raven. it lasted about 2 mounth when i went up with my corp so we take over a 0.0 region. the locals 68 in numbers and we, 18 in numbers say: "ok let's do this".. the 2 blob clash.. LAG, LAG, LAG,, and we warp out succesfully killing 8 BS and loosing 2. Now some of our gang thought they do hit and run.. so did i... warped to the station at 60km, saw about 3 BS and thought...lets just warp out..SO I DOUBLE CLICK A FREAKIN PLANET, and end up at the gate (15km) with 60 enemys thinking.. "is this dude for real?"
what happend: the icon of the stargate was in the same place as the one from the planet.. so.. go figure:)
2. i`m sitting in my second raven (wich lasted 5 mounth LOL) in an overtaken station in 0.0. I know they station isnt ours... but i think.. heheeh i`ll undock.. check out the mofos and dock again.. after i undocked.. it took me a few seconds to realise.. Q <- Jackass

*I ctrl-click like mad so I can lock him as soon as I can after he has loaded space.
*I get a target lock up and send 4 cruise, 2 hvy nos, ECM and warp disruptor at him.
*I wonder why my shields are gone (he was in a frig).
*I notice that the station is targeted and not the frigate, and that the sentries are wtfpwning me.
*I get out with 7% armour left, and much amusement in local.

Funniest ship loss imo.

I proposed a 2vs2 to some carebears knowing they would come with all they have. So of course I decided to leave my wingman safe and go there alone to kill them.
Basicly I made the terrible mistake to choose an asteroid belt.
First warp, I'm not satisfied of my position and begins to warp out and in again. In fact I came a *bit* close from roids. And they were a good 7 at least, mostly in BS :P
But I decided it was going to be fun.
What was less fun is that while trying to keep aligned with an object I stuck my ship on roids
Then errrr... Well I finaly managed to unstuck my ship while at structure  and sadly, it went boom just a little bit before the warping out... But heh all the uber loot got destroyed hopefully. Wouldn't want some dishonorable carebears to get it. They just didn't deserve it.
Dear friendly customer... Can I have your money ?

As I was bravely jumping thru the gates on autopilot in my newly purchased destroyer and thinking to myself how I was going to outfit it and what IĘm going to put on it and so on, as I encountered gate camp. I fought bravely ōactually I was franticly clicking everywhere on the god damn screenö theną. My shields at 20% ą. My armor at ą.10% ą hull at 78% and my mighty destroyer goes in to warp. YAY I say as I exit the warp by some station. As I try to warn my corp mates about the camp, somehow I see that painful sign on the bottom of the screeną. You knową the one that tells you your ships speedą.. the sign says. ōWARPINGö WTF???!!! I click on stop the ship STOP THE DAMN SHIP NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. IĘm in warp again going back to the same camped gate. As IĘm in warp, morbid thoughts are in my head after all the only thing I have isą nothing!!! It is completely empty!!! And my hull at 78%ą.. IĘm exiting the warpą. I can see the gate getting closerą closer closerą BAM WAM BOOM AAAAAAA!! IĘm in my pod and warping out againą. Aahh warp is so beautiful ą. lmao! I know it's the same story but it still makes me laugh. It's that horrible sinking feeling u get when u realise what is happening and that there's not a damn thing u can do about it.
I just wish I could have seen the expression on the gankers faces when I returned to wtfpwn their asses in my pod.

The first one was an Osprey, kitted out for mining. I had no defenses at all because I didn't plan to fight but to leave at the first sign of trouble. I was mining at a belt in Nonni when some guristas show up. I usually keep a destination set so all I have to do is push the button to warp to safety. In this case, I slowly aligned with an asteroid, and couldn't go to warp. As I desparately struggled to guide the ship to open space it dissolved right before my eyes. This was my first time and it really hurt. Made it worse, I could actually hear the rats laughing amongst themselves, over my comm-set.

I was settin up a med warp field near a gate in 0.0 with a roomate helpin me with it,the bubble goes active and as im about to pilot my apoc out of the bubble the power in our house goes out :/ after a few phonecalls I find out my apoc has been chewed up by 20-30k gate rats hehe

myself and a corpmate are in cruisers attacking a guy in 0.4. his friend warps in, and we destroy his osprey, then a crow warps in and starts to attack my corpmate, i lock mr crow, and activate my nos and webber to slow him down... but oh noooooo EVE CTD's on me the second i hit my webber. lucky crow. damn. so, i log back in.. and i'm heading for a gate at 6au/sec. oh dear. sentries give me a good seeing to. bye bye blackbird... and i'm left sat at the gate.. in a cloud of dust. no loot. just dust.
muchos flaming and **** taking in local.
why do we warp to gates instead of where we came from???

I fired first in my first (and only) PvP encounter. I lost my ship in the fight and warped to a nearby station. My corpmates are all telling me that I'm flagged for taking a shot at someone. I have no clue what the consequences of being flagged actually are, so as soon as I leave station in my shiny new rookie ship, the sentry guns open fire.
The detailer at the rookie ship dealership was ****ed that his work lasted all of 3 seconds after I took it off the lot. I piloted my pod from Ane to Duripant, where I had more ships waiting.
I am such a noob.

Chaseing an indy through 0.0.
He had instas and was really running, there wasn't anything I could do.
So I decied to try and get ahead of his a jump or two and hope he kept going on his path and I could get him when he jumps.
So I make a few jumps and get in possition right on top of a gate so I know I'll be within 15 km of him when he uncloaks. Local changes and he comes in, this is my chance I think.
I lock, set orbit and warp scramble him. Boom goes my ship. I warp my pod off wondering WTF just happened, did he have some sort of frig insta kill on?
It wasnt untill I looked at the kill mail that I saw we had moved into a 0.1 system in empire and the sentrys wtfpwned me.
Oh and anouther time...
I was in a claw, scouting around. I found a gate camp in EC that we wanted to attack or at least break up.
I being there I warped to a gate scout and started to right click show info on all the ships in the scanner. I suddenly notice that a couple frigs have made the 300km trip out to get me.
Then I figure out that my screen is so full of info windows I can't double click a planet or move my ship or do anything. I died trying to close all those windows.

I had ONE jump left in a 0.3 system, yay, it was the last system, then four -ASS- scorps waiting for me :P and paff the zydrine and stabber lost. Three thousand units of zydrine. Sigh. Good job ASS :P

My favorite was jumping into A2 crashing then logging back and seeing a nice egg instead of a megathron and the words somedude[MOO] has begun warp scrambling you. Then I bought a new pc and hadn't lost a Pod for about 8 months until a SA gate smartbomber in Hed got me one day. Being able to have the bm windows in the upper left open each menu in less than 5 seconds is nice too since I can actually cycle jam and pick bms in less time then the cycle takes, which was impossible on the other pc.
