There was a post from CCP just after the release of Exodus to suspend doing missions due to bugs.
I have seen some posts since then regarding how deadspace missions were removed for tweaking.
Does this mean that all of the "non-deadspace" missions are working again? My agent surely misses me.
I'd like to resume my duties with the Caldari Navy, have the problems been corrected enough to where I can start doing missions again?
I'm talking about Level 3, Level 4 just take too long and I really don't have any buddies I can do L4 missions with.
Thanks
P.S., kind of hoping for a CCP response, if someone could take 10 seconds and just say:
1. Yes, they are working again but the deadspace missions have been suspended until they can be fixed.
2. No, they are not currently working but the development team is working steadfastly on the issue and we expect the problem to be resolved shortly.
(You can even cut and paste, I've made it easy on you)

Personally I'm only aware of 1 bug other than the deadspace issue, and that is with the mission "Unauthorized military presence" which will be resolved shortly. The mission dialogue is also a bit unintuitive (which will be fixed), but as long as you remember to accept the mission things should be fine. Other than that, the bugs out there are probably the same as pre-Exodus release and therefore doing missions today should be fine. Just avoid "Unauthorized military presence" till it's fixed tomorrow during downtime, and don't forget to click the accept button when taking a mission (you will recieve bookmarks even though you have not accepted the mission yet).

Edited by: Kretin Arnon on 30/11/2004 14:38:24 I've posted bug reports about the "Surprise" mission with CONCORD mission ships given you a huge sec hit and crimminally flagged too with lots of unwanted sentry response just for blowing up a lousy NPC. (Fix: Don't have the CONCORD ships a part of the CONCORD corp like neither Amarr Navy, Khanid, Ammatar Navy, Mordu etc. mission ships are a part of their respective corporations.)
Also the "Sabotage the Supply Lines" is bugged as the Blood Raider agent sends you off to meaningsly kill a raider convoy and a lot of raider ships. (Fix: Change mission description and mission objectives from raider ships to Amarr Navy or what ever.)
I guess these haven't reached your table yet.
EDIT: These mission were given away by the level 3 Blood Raider agents in Oyonata but I suspect they're bugged on all agent levels.

The CONCORD part is not actually a bug, if you don't want sec hits don't work for the pirate corps :). However I'd like to know more about the sentry gun responces, in what security level are they, who are the owners etc?
The blood raiders sending you to kill their bretheren is a known issue, sorry forgot about that. It's not on my desk so I'm not sure what the status of it is at the moment. They should be sending you to destroy Ammatar or Amarr ships as per design.

I was told that the npcs in the mission weren't dropping marines, which are part of the mission objectives.

That one worked for me too if it helps ...
Now if only I could trade in these Amarr Navy dog tags to recoup the missle costs Ive spent ......
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

How about the bug (?) with all missions for a given agent giving the same (lower than Castor) standing increase, irrespective of mission difficulty/duration?
Or the bug (?) with people doing level 2 and level 3 (and probably level 4) agents being referred to level 1 storyline missions?
Or the bug (?) that important missions are no longer for the corp you're working for and hence standing progression in that corp is now snail-like, especially coupled with the normal missions giving down to half what they used to?
Or the bug (which I for one have reported) with agents on the Smuggler Interception mission specifically asking people to bring back all dropped contraband from the mission - which'd get people into trouble at the gates?

I think that was from a lvl 4 agent where some of the rats warp away or traveled away in high speed. the the rats that dissapeared was containing marins. So the mission runner only got some of the marines _____________________________________________

If that is the case then please submit bug reports about it. That is more of an NPC issue than an agent mission issue though, and would have to be dealt with by seperate people.

FYI: The original question was, are agents safe to use. The glitches below are valid, but do not mean agents are not safe to use. The bug I was referring to actually broke the mission, or so people said.
How about the bug (?) with all missions for a given agent giving the same (lower than Castor) standing increase, irrespective of mission difficulty/duration?
I believe this is because all of the missions were given the same estimated duration time. Once the system has been on TQ for a few days then the system should rectify the situation by calculating their average duration time. The person responsible for this isn't here today, so I can't confirm if this is actually the case or not.
Or the bug (?) with people doing level 2 and level 3 (and probably level 4) agents being referred to level 1 storyline missions?
This is a known issue as well, but not on my desk. I have no eta on the fix yet.
Or the bug (?) that important missions are no longer for the corp you're working for and hence standing progression in that corp is now snail-like, especially coupled with the normal missions giving down to half what they used to?
This is actually not a bug per say, but we will be looking at this once the more critical bugs get fixed. Your faction standing should still raise at the same level as before.
Or the bug (which I for one have reported) with agents on the Smuggler Interception mission specifically asking people to bring back all dropped contraband from the mission - which'd get people into trouble at the gates?
This has already been fixed, by removing the extra contraband. The fix will probably make it to TQ tomorrow, depending if there will be an update then.
