Make all modify orders taxed based on total Sales gross.
Have taxes based on volume sold in System.
Allow an Alliance Wallet for sell orders. Place the owners name of the sell order in the market for branding. Have the market show standings.
All sell orders placed by individuals only visible by solar system. All Corp/Alliance orders can be seen upto region.

Yes, I too want to know what the problem with trade hubs are? Where else am I supposed to go when I need stuff that's not available at an affordable price in my local system? Huh, where? and WHY?

EVE was suppose to not have trade hubs. Each system was supposed to have its own market.
Make the market controlled by branding and standings and you will be way more diverse.

Edited by: SyntaxPD on 29/03/2010 22:35:41 Hello, I'm a trader in EVE. Huge part of my income is from the market. I'm a parasite on healthy (but still handicapped) body of EVE economics. And i love the market as it is now.

Where to begin....
Even if a limited view, jita would still be jita. My indy operation doesn't even see it since not in same region....still know to go there lol. If motivated...fly and park an alt in a hub. If motivated and lazy...eve central and hope the price updates recent and correct lol.
tax on volume would hurt many markets (place far away from Jita as well). ammo is one. No one makes 100 ammo type and calls it a productive indy day (well except for bomb makers maybe). Ammo usually made and sold in bulk and therefore would take a big hit on volume based taxation.

Jita would no longer be a hub. CCP knows that having large amounts of players in a single system is bad. They removed asteroid fields, agents, to remove the lag. This would be the the end of it.
The market at first was a dynamic thing. Industrials made goods where sales where not the other way around. I hope the change makes all that play the market only do soo on small qty.

Jita will always be a hub. been that way for years. Only way to shut it down is to remove the stations. Then...sobaseki or some other system close by will be the new jita as eveyone moves there lol.
Every major alliance in game uses it for supply point. Corp haulers don't have time to hit up 20 systems to pick up supplies for corp. JIta guaranteed to have every item in game you could ever want. Buy there, fly to first low/null sec system and jump away.
hate jita lag don't go there prime time. Simple solution. Gets bad US timezone a few hours...make your runs some other time. many a time I have staged in a system right outside and waited for local to clear up.
