Hey.
I have had a ps3 for almost a year and a half now. I havent used it much tho. But i want to. I currently have Mirrors edge, burnout paradise and motorstorm pacific rift for my console.
Im looking for a good game and was wondering if any of you had any advice on what game to buy. I dont want a racing game as i already have 2 :)

Well, if you're going to get a PS3 game, you might as well get a PS3 exclusive.

MGS4 is a must have, best thing about this it doesnt matter if you didnt play 1-3 as it gives you insight into the past events
and Bad company 2 , online play is jokes
also Final fantasy 13, is a good game, Battle system isnt as great and its completly been changed compared to other ff games out there. (also its good if you like LOADs and Loads of cut scenes lol)

This year has been great for the playstation so far. I haven't bought it yet but played the demo, a friend has it and the guy who runs my local computer games store says it's one of the best games he has ever played, Heavy Rain. It has had great reviews and it is very different from the regular range of games, more like taking part in a movie than playing a game.
I got Battlefield Bad Company 2 when it was released and if you are into first person shooters then it is a must have. Very nice graphics, the weapon and equipment unlock system is nice and balanced and even though there are tanks and choppers the focus is still on the soldiers which is good.
Alien vs Predator I recently got also. Play through the single player campaign as an Alien, Predator and a Marine, all with their own pro's and con's. The single player campaign has been thoroughly enjoyable and I will probably go through it again soon. The multi-player is great fun although I spend more time waiting for a match then actually playing a match (is that just me or everyone?)
Metal Gear Solid 4 is a classic game imo but when I said to a friend recently that I was off to play MGS4, he corrected me by pointing out I was going to watch a load of cut-scene movies and spend a lot of my time watching Snake smoking while it installs. More annoying than fun imo.
You can get Final Fantasy 7 & 8 through the playstation store, great if you were a fan years ago although the newest Final Fantasy is supposed to be crap from what I have been told, I have no fancy for it.

Definitely check out Killzone 2, I hate consoles for fps but I forced myself thru this game, it was that good.
Assassins Creed 1+2.
Fat Princess.
GTA IV if you haven't already played it on PC.
Batman Arkham Asylum.
All the lego games.
Tiger Woods 09/10 if you like golf.
Amongst thieves 1+2.
Plenty more tbh.
