If it wasn't for PLEXes I would have quit EVE long ago.
Seriously, instead of quitting, I just bought a year's worth of PLEXes.

If it wasn't for multiple accounts and enough variety in eve to have them able to do wildly different stuff so that when I bored of x I could simply change characters and do y I would have quit eve long ago!

If it wasn't for the 'solo pvp' I would have... well, actually I'm thinking of leaving Eve for the reason there's no such thing.

If we couldn't multi-spec a single character as much as we're able to in Eve I'd have probably gotten bored to the point of quitting in a year or so. Sure it might be a process that takes a couple years, but there's a point you can get to where you can pretty much keep yourself entertained AND be useful to others in many different roles. Come to think of it, if Eve didn't have such a long-term outlook on things like skills and such I'd have probably quit by now as well.

if it wasnt for datacores...
You dont know how awesome it is to hit a rough patch.. then collect a hundred mill or so in datacores (about 2 months worth for me )

I do quit EVE (off and on since 05, mostly off), but I keep coming back because it's INTERNET SPACESHIPS.
Also I love the skill training system. Some skills can take a ridiculously long time to train, but overall I like the system. |

if it wasn't for the APIs, database Dumps and all manner of fantastic resources (Like your stories, I love a good short story!), the fact you don't have to be level 60 to hit a level 60 (lawlz, sorry, bash at WOW spreadsheet combat), EVE tournament, the fact you guys have a sense of humor (BOOT.INI video where you 'Sorted' it) and everything that makes CCP who they are (open, usually hands off, usually 'right' about what the game needs even if thats totally against the vocal minority), I'd have quit ages ago.

wormholes are the only thing that keeps me interested.

* No blobs
* Fun PVP
* Smaller entities are not steamrolled just for lulz( generally there is a reason )
