My agent sent me an eve mail this morning saying that:
"Our research has been fruitful. Research will be halted, contact me if you're interested" and etc.
I go straight to the agent and there is no extra options to talk about this fruitful research... can anyone help me, have I got a bpo waiting for me somewhere or what?
edit; I accidentally deleted the evemail out of excitement, so I cannot reference any more than what I originally thought the evemail said. D:

R&D agent mail = "hi! I have a mission for you!"
Nothing more, nothing less. ---

I have another related question.
I started with my first lvl 3 agent about 3/4 days ago and while I'm getting the RP everyday I haven't been sent one notification about any missions from him for extra RP's.
Does the fact he's in Low sec (0.4) make any difference? So far I have only been using High sec ones.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Normally you have to at least dock in the station or click on his name - especially if you refuse or don't reply for the first mail.

You could always talk to the agent and request mission.

Sometimes it takes up to a week or two before they offer you a mission. Haven't figured out any rhyme or reason to it, as I've had some agents offer me a mission in the first day, and others wait for 3-4 days before offering me, with the same agent level and skill level for each agent. ---

Great, thanks.
I've used 3 so far and they all offered me a mission on the second day.

That's odd as I've been doing research on and off for the last few years, and it's always been a case of getting one mission available every 24 hours usually concerning units of Tritanium or some other mineral.
The prize of course was to double the RP earnings. Nice thing to do on a regular basis as long as you can find agents near to each other.

R&D agents seem to roll the dice when it comes to offering you that first mission.
I have two alts who started with one agent on about the same day - the alt who talked to the agent last got their first mission offer first. I've heard reports of agents waiting four or five days before offering that first misson - this is from people who go to the agent to check for a mission, they're not waiting for a message.
For what it's worth, this is mentioned in the Research Agent Guide in the EVElopedia. [Aussie players: join channels ANZAC or AUSSIES] |
