Be advised, this is not a get rich ad or a scam. This is a real offer with real results.
First, a basic story of who I am. I am a 6 month old player who fell in love with exploration. So much that i made it my ingame career and have become pretty good at it. My ingame subscription is paid using this career and so have all of my ships, skills, modules and anything i currently use. About a month ago, i also recieved the Exploratory Metal of Shiny Objects for boldly going where no noob has gone before (totally irrelevant).
Since the money is good, i started thinking of how to allow investors to make my exploration travels cheaper and allow them to make some money too. I did some beta-testing in Jita and it turned out to be both profitable for them and for me. Out of 5 people who invested with me, 4 of the recieved more than 200% of their contribution. Don't worry, the last person got my full drake insurance as opposed to their 40 million ISK investment and i added 2 mill to make it fair (38+2=40).I'm here to tell you all about it but please keep an open mind.
This is a contract between me and 1 or more people. 1) The total contribution of all investors covers 100% of the ship/module costs. 2) Your percentage cut of the profit is the percentange amount of the ship you covered divided by 2. (100% you cover- 50% profit) 3) Your profit will be going on until the ship is destroyed. (You will get a KB if it was a PvP death or a full combat log in case it is a NPC death- very rare) 4)I may do 3-4 sites before sending a bulk transfer.(I usually give all profits as soon as possible but sometimes i find 3-4 sites worth checking out and i get greedy) 5)I don't do wormhole/null sec exploration (Can't tank it with my current ship setups.)
And last but not least...
Pricing- all ships are insured 1) Heron - 1.5 million (Cloaking device costs) 2) Caracal- 7 million (Cloaking device costs) 3) Drake- 40 million (t1 fitted with a cloak)
In my experience, herons are pretty useless for anything except high sec exploration; in these sites there's a small amount of canisters and the profits are few inbetween. Caracals are so-so for low sec exploration; they can do a lot but if there's a scram frig, let's just say they die in a fire. The drake is a beast in low sec and even null sec exploration; however this one is t1 fitted so null sec is a bit out of the scope. I have lost 1 drake so far and it was a PvP encounter which i was not prepared for.
If you would like to talk about this or invest please feel free to speak to me ingame. DO NOT SEND MONEY UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THIS ALL AND TALKED TO ME. I prefer ingame chat but if you want to drop me a quick line, feel free.

Why would you share out your exploration profits to people when the startup costs amounts next to nothing? Especially so when you consider all that grief, toil and indomitable patience one has to deal with when doing exploration.

Alright, I'll bite, I'm curious.
So from what I can tell you want 48.5mil in order to go exploring?
What sort of return would an investor expect, and over how long?
What was this 'beta-testing' that you have done?
Do you not have the ships/money for the venture already, seeing as you have been doing it for the last six months?
Apologies if I've misread or misunderstood anything.

ok, just a few things i want to know, i dont mind funding your explorations 100%, then id get 50% of the profits right? do u have any t2 mods in use? as they will increase ya tank on ya drake by 50% easy if they r all t2, i know 4 someone starting off this might seem daunting but the money is well spent i assure u whats ya toon's name ingame and what time eve time do u play?
"killer NenYim" is my toon i play on ingame if u want to talk 2 me, i also fly Caldari so i might be able 2 help u out on any fitting tweak's :)

I think what he means is, investors 'order' a certain exploration ship. He will then use said ship to explore until its killed, and investors will get 50% of all profit said ship made in its time. (If no profit was made because of unforeseen gatecamps, maybe investors will get insurance back...?)
Now, he's prolly been doing this for a while, but I guess he loses ships often. Doing it this way reduces the risk to himself substantially, while still retaining 50% profit for himself.
At least that's what I gathered from his topic...
EDIT: What the hell, I have some spare cash floating, I might be interested. It's not like it's a massive sum to be lost if things turn hairy. Shoot me a mail in-game if you'd like.
EDIT2: Misread something and corrected my post.

I tend to not lose a lot of ship unless i go into low sec exploration. That place is full of unscanned sites but if my heron or caracal enter there, they fall apart. 5-10 cruisers spawning 1.5km out from me and my shield tank can fail :(. Drakes are just tougher to kill :)

Part of the reason that so many of those lowsec sites are there is because a fair amount of them are wormholes and because running a site can lead to run ins with people like me. I let you do the site, then ransom you are take your stuff :)
