My point is, we all villify Fox when other networks essentially do the same thing. They all take news that is sourced from some other outlet (at least in terms of the big US stations).
It is also insainly bias, activly tells lies, and covers very little real news unless it somehow involves Americans. All American news is like that to some degree but Fox is the worst of the lot.

Well I am expecting there might be a mini heatwave in the uk with 1 or 2 degrees C higher temperatures due to the lack of air traffic today and maby tomorrow if the skies stay empty. God I love irony!

Yeah, spraying lava, ashclouds that can strip the flesh down to the bones billowing out explosive style, rocks the size of cars falling like rain and then add some serious lightning. And you want to get close and study the thing?! Iraq is probably safer.
Dream job
Always loved volcanoes and I decided 2 years ago to just go for it.

BBC have been reporting on the locals for the last few days. Mass evacuation of horses, cars getting stuck because of ash intake and the like.
Also I would have loved to have been in that plane and get a nice close up view

Originally by: Triniton Same here, they say that some of the lava-chunks that the volcano spits out in the air are the size of a car. Unbelivable force.
Those are rather small chunks. When St. Helens went off it took out the entire north face of the mountain.

recorded history.
thing is, there seems to be evidence of an even larger explosion in the area, dating back to prehistoric times. Think the remains of it are a caldera in the area with still some activity.
nevermind good ol' Yellowstone too.
I see your Yellowstone and raise you with the Siberian Traps
