Can anyone tell me what use being given 8 of those new Warehouse Containers as a mission bonus is? At 1,000,000 m3 each they certainly can't be transported anywhere, so can't sell them unless there's an in station player corp HQ in station and in a without a reprocessing plant you can't refine them. Perhaps they're to replace the old 36 shuttles bonus, but at least you could sell those (eventually). [ |

It would be worthwhile if you could recycle those containers.

I wouldn't want too many of them in any one station, but I went back to my old level 1 agent in Curse space just to get some of these warehouse cans. They definitely help in tidying up my hangar and I wouldn't mind getting a few more of them.
And as for not being able to sell them, I have no problems in selling them on at 2mil each where I am. And I'd quite happily pay 2mil to get some in stations that I use often, but can't (or can't be bothered to) run missions for the agents there.

well i think you will be able to sell some for a day or 2 still by then everyone doing missions there will have plenty I have a stack of station containers and vaults, in a station without recycling price of those things is below 15K already
If they could be colapsed and moved this would not be as much as a problem, why can they not have a normal movable capacety when they are pakaged. thay way you will never be able to use them to move stuff but at least you can move them to stations where there is demand or a use for them

Yes I think that's a great idea. I know that CCP specifically didn't want people to be able to repackage them, otherwise they wouldn't be any different to a secure can for storage. If CCP could make it so that they were transportable whilst unassembled and once assembled unrepackagable then that would solve these issues. After all if all else failed with the shuttles you could always resort to scamming your insurance company. [ |

As far as I know, every npc station is selling these containers, so why transport them at all?

because most times people are only at that station to use that agent and then move on. why give something that can't be taken with you? and the only option to clear up your hangar is to sell it (yeah right), or trash it...
that's why.
there is a fine, but dissasterous line between a fart and a shart. i suggest you make sure which side you want to be on... |

It would appear to me that these containers are a common reward for missions. Generally within the first 5 missions ill get x4 station containers and on the next mission ill get x1 station vault. I am the proud owner of 24 station containers and 3 station vaults at one station. I have 3 station containers and a vault at another station as well after i ran just a couple missions with a level 2 agent there. Couple things bother me about it though. First off, what would i do with 4 of them if i have no use for 1, second why on earth must it insist on locking everything going into them without an option to turn that "feautre" off?
Sure i can see the size and the log auditing and the pass word lock/unlock feature useful to a corp hangar, but why on earth are they given out as a fairly common prize then? Ah yes thats right, each of us is a head of a corp with a corp office in every station with an agent in it.

Please give us shuttles back. At least they are recyclable.
What happened to Toxic Waste and Plutonium? Are they banned by Customs now? Will you get ganked carrying them? Why are they no longer being dropped?

Well - i guess i may be unique in the game but i actually want about 20 of the station containers, the one with the 1,000,000 m3 capacity, but they have to be in Pimebeka VI moon 1 carthum conglomerate warehouse. There in lies my problem as it seems to me that not all npc corps are dishing em out.
I know this is not the trade channel but if anyone has any at this station - put em up for sale at about 20k each and i'll buy em.
