Some typos:
"nMiss" (one n too many)
"sheran" (one space too short)
"worshipers" (one p too little)
"herchair" (too little spaces in a space game, huh?)
For the rest, very nice chronicle. Won't spoil the read, but the final twist is very cute. Piloting that thing won't be the same from now on... --- Kat |

Edited by: Soapy5 on 19/04/2010 23:16:51 Great story, but I have one quick question: is the image a pic of Silphy or Santimona? Also, there were some pretty strong vibes going on between the two...

Wow! Great chronicle! Methinks that Ishukone is trying to gain an edge in capitalizing on wormhole space via the Zephyr program.
As for the relationship between Santimona and Silphy, the emphasis on the word "sister" during their mock-argument makes me think that they are indeed sisters, perhaps. Good stuff! Perhaps we'll see some new features added to wormhole space in the next update!

I have a Zephyr parked in a hangar in wspace almost the whole time I have owned it. I wonder if it can hack my commlinks and transmit through wh's.

Am I the only one that has used the Zephyr to it's potential? I use it ALL the time.
Hmmm. Maybe it's time to run a full system diagnostic on her.

Please note that your Zephyr has no user-servicable parts and should be sent to a qualified service center for maintenence and repair.

Very nice read! I love the behind-the-scenes dealing in recent chronicles. You better have a satisfying conclusion for them though ;)
On a slightly related note, if anyone from art department reads this: Pictures of Silphy from Evelopedia and from her chronicle do not match - hair and facial decoration is different. Personally I prefer the bald look from the chronicle.

Oh, they match greatly I think. The new chronicle even explicitly stated the Silphy's hair is synthetic. And we know from previous chronicles that tattoos in the world of EVE are rarely permanent and can even change based on the mood of the person.

What. People actually use those worthless things in w-space? Even in k-space you're more likely then average to just get ganked by someone who wants to fill out their km list (I wholly approve), in nullsec sitting in something that can't cloak probing is nuts, and in w-space with no local it's even worse. If the Zephyr was unprobable it'd have some use, at least as long as someone wasn't dumb enough to sit at a celestial or anom with it, as it is it's outclassed by every t1 frig (or any other ship with two high slots) in the game.

Edited by: Zargyl on 20/04/2010 10:28:17 Thank you for this cool chronicle! It was a nice read and I was happy to see more light shed on the Intaki Syndicate. Also the link to the Zephyr shuttles (which btw are quite some incredible design) was great
Hope we see those two in another Headfirst chronicle soon!
/edit: Yeah the picture in the chronicle is GREAT! And they won't have much luck with my Zephyrs (no W-Space explorations done with them)

Out of curiosity, some statistics about Zephyr numbers and usage would be interesting. The cost of manufacture isn't 0, and it doesn't sound like many are being used as intended, so...

I think it's something a little different. If you know what I mean.
Silphy used to be a member of the Sisters of EVE but left them to look after her family. See, perfectly normal innuendo, nothing ... different involved.
As for the story - anything giving more information about Intaki is welcome by me. Although I resent the attitude of "Neener neener, there's something about the Zephyrs you had no chance of knowing about because we retconned it just now and now we make you look stupid!" at the end.
