I know you like strawman arguments, but you might be interested to note there is a pretty high precedence for this happening in the past. Most notably last year, when RvB crashed out for doing this on their Tengu(s).

I like how everyone is getting all butthurt and suggesting it was a thrown match with no basis at all.
Snake wasn't our primary second Vindi pilot and had reservations about flying it having not put in much practice with that setup. He burnt out his guns, it happens. You should be giving Nulli props for pulling off a win with what is a pretty mediocre setup.
Nulli definitely deserve credit for the most spectacular metagaming of the tournament by convincing one of their members to throw himself in front of a train on the Bakerloo line thus delaying our primary second Vindi pilot, Amantus, as he traveled home.
Froth at the mouth all you want, we're advancing to the next round where I'm sure you'll see many more surprises from us.
