I do agent missions nonstop every day while i play eve. I have normally gained standing at a good rate but lately I've gained practically no standing. What is normal: http://www.neotarin.com/good.JPG
What I have now... http://www.neotarin.com/bad.JPG
Ps. Those are from a Corporation: Ministry of Internal Order. You can notice thats a huge difference... and I do NOT like this at all!
Also: I seem to be gaining absolutely ZERO standing for the faction (Amarr) of which the corporation is a part of from normal missions, but I do gain very little from important missions on amarr. -Nirat

Yep
The Standing Nerf/bug sucks badly. As bad as it is, it hurts new players much worse. I've got good faction standing already on my main mission running character.
The 100% consistancy on normal mission Standing awards is not a problem for me. But the reduction of Faction standing affect for important missions, and the fact that Important missions don't help you with the corp you are working for IS a problem.

Well I have noticed the same thing. The day after the Exodus patch was available, and I was able to down load it and install, I immediatly started doing agent missions. Of course I looked at my agent standings, as well as corp statdings (archangles) before i starged, then went on my merry of doing missions. I was disappointed about the loyalty points I was getting, but to be expected with lvl 1 agent with a -19 quality with no other archangles agents available, I was only getting 9 quality points per mission, and I have gotten my agent standing to about 6.9 now, having done approxamatly 150 missions since the patch i'm extremly frustrated to see that my Archangles standing has increased at less than a snail's rate and its frustrating to say the least. In the past few days I have done over 100 missions alone and have received .13 standing in that time. I'm training my criminal connections to lvl 4 currently which should be done today and will be a very welcomed boost, but that brigs me up to 1.84, that means I have another .96 staning to go before I can use the next available, lvl 2 agent. I did missions for 8 hours one day, and all i got was .07 increase in my standing. If my calculator works right, thats almost 14 days of doing missions for 8 hours a day untill I can use the next agent.
My questions is when the heck is the advanced connections skill going to be available. I can only imagine it means having lvl 5 criminal connections, and other high lvl skills to train, but dangit, I want it, doing lvl 1 missions sucks royal, and only getting between 17k and at most 25k per mission and a stupid station container hardly seems worth it.

Oh hang on a minute, I remember that there are people that talk about how random doesnt always look like random because of the large numbers involved. hahaha. So obviously you are all just whining and this is a natural phenomenon of random numbers.
Anyway, yeah I have exactly the same problem.

Are you talking about increase towards the corp of the agent or towards the agent? I gain 0.365% on each mission towards the corp and 0.95% towards the agent.
And this is not correct imo.

Just adding my opinion to this thread.
I'm getting only 0.2544% per mission in this fashion as well. Needless to day, it is very slow going. I'm quite certain that I would still be 100% pleased if the only thing that was fixed within the very near future are these problems (standing bugs + handling important missions).

Lets hope the next 'devblog' is all about agent missions and how sorry CCP is for releasing such crap. Hopefully there are changes up ahead or this game will be trully seeing a massive 'exodus' to a more attractive game.

/me thinks something very odd is going on as despite a 3:1 mission completion/decline ratio his standings are dropping ...
So WTF !! is going on

I don't quite know why I bother - you are all very eager typists but apparently no friggin good at reading.
Still, clinging to hope even in the face of obstinate hysterics, I'd refer you to Papa Smurf in Sticky #5 above

The same automatic system determining mission time governs standings, systematically determined rewards, and LPs. Thus it's no coincidence that if one of these factors is the same between two missions, all of them would be pretty much the same between two missions.
I'll probably seed this data with some initial state before launch, otherwise it'll balance itself out in the first few days. On Singularity, there is virtually no mission activity, thus this doesn't autobalance well.

I believe this is because all of the missions were given the same estimated duration time. Once the system has been on TQ for a few days then the system should rectify the situation by calculating their average duration time. The person responsible for this isn't here today, so I can't confirm if this is actually the case or not.
Try those for size? And then can your performance of a Greek chorus, please. |
