ok i just went to my lvl 4 to see about getting a mission and first thing i get is lvl 4 damsel. well with my run in with that mission last week i am hesitant to accept. what i would like to know is if anyone has gotten that mission today and is it still fubared to the point u lose your bs within 20 seconds of jumping in and u still land on the rats when doing so.
plz leave as many responses as u can in regards to this mission. i dont want to go in blind again and lose another bs as it will really hurt.

I did the level 3 damsel mission a few hours ago, and everything went fine. I was only able to separate a group of 4 from the pack, and then had to later engage the others (8-10?) at the same time. There were 3 small sentry guns firing at me as long as I was within 100km of them.
Not sure if this information helps with the level 4 mission. But I wasn't attacked as soon as I warped in at 15km, so I had time to look around and plan a course of action.

I did the level 3 damsel mission a few hours ago, and everything went fine. I was only able to separate a group of 4 from the pack, and then had to later engage the others (8-10?) at the same time. There were 3 small sentry guns firing at me as long as I was within 100km of them.
Not sure if this information helps with the level 4 mission. But I wasn't attacked as soon as I warped in at 15km, so I had time to look around and plan a course of action.

thanks for reply but no it dont help, that lvl 4 version is the toughest misison in the game i think. but of course i wouldnt really know as i died 20 seconds in after i warped to it. didnt even get one ceptor locked.

Just lost my Mega to it, was just gonna take a peek, so me and my m8s knew what was there. Got scrambled instantly and killed in like 1min mabe, and I had 2 hardeners and 2 L armor reps going. And only frigs and cruisers shooting at me. mabe like 5 frigs and 5 crusiers. These guys seam to do insane dmg for their size. Gonna build myself a raven nxt time. My mega is having a really hard time hitting these guys. Raven seams like the only worthwhile ship to use.

Just lost my Mega to it, was just gonna take a peek, so me and my m8s knew what was there. Got scrambled instantly and killed in like 1min mabe, and I had 2 hardeners and 2 L armor reps going. And only frigs and cruisers shooting at me. mabe like 5 frigs and 5 crusiers. These guys seam to do insane dmg for their size. Gonna build myself a raven nxt time. My mega is having a really hard time hitting these guys. Raven seams like the only worthwhile ship to use.

raven works no better if thats the case of getting scrambled and webbed and dead in all less than a minute. actually lost mine last week in under 20 seconds but it was a bug since i warped to gang mate and he was 200km away and was his mission

raven works no better if thats the case of getting scrambled and webbed and dead in all less than a minute. actually lost mine last week in under 20 seconds but it was a bug since i warped to gang mate and he was 200km away and was his mission

with an unknown mission I would always scout in a cheap frigate/shuttle first. you may even want to try taking a destroyer in first to deal with the frigates( altough in this mission it would probably explode before you even finished the warp sequence.)

This is a tough mission, you need some experience with this. The most important thing you need to do is be able to warp out if you are introuble. You need to align your ship to a warp point for quick exit. You need to know how to take out the wingman ASAP. They will respawn constantly in this deadspace. Good luck with your level 4 missions.

Yeah the damsel level 4 is hard. But its still very doable in a Raven, since you can take down the scrambler frigs VERY quick, heck 3 torpedos is enough. It takes 1 hour though+1 hour picking the crap loot and finding the damnsel (no fast frigs scooping, the wingmen respawn!). Something is wrong with some missiles, the heavy kinetic missiles there did more damage than Zors kinetic cruise missiles.
The problem with this....the loot altogether was worse than off one (yep one) level3 mission cruiser.

I haven't been offered the Damsel mission again yet (had it pre-patch and like most everyone, lost my gangmate to bad warp).
I did get the Serpentis Spies mission in deadspace and completed it. It was moderatley challenging (lots and lots of sentries) but I had support from a gang mate.
Note, warping into deadspace is still bugged with gangmates, they always warp to the beacon, whereas mission holder can warp to 60km. Anticipating that this would still be bugged, I waited about 5-10 minutes with NPC's chasing me before I had gangmate warp in. That worked out pretty good.

However...... I can't seem to find the damn damsel!!! I have even docked, reloaded, and then killed them all 2 additional times with now luck... Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong

However...... I can't seem to find the damn damsel!!! I have even docked, reloaded, and then killed them all 2 additional times with now luck... Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong

Just discovered that now ;-) Was attacking it with torpedoes when I wrote this post ..... and there she was
