Hi
This weekend I learned that a corp can declare war against a whole alliance, short after that I also learned that the alliance Im apart of declared war against another alliance, cool, now I cant do anything, need to be docked all the time becouse I havent got PvP experience at all. I find it a pitty that alliances can declare war, what about the member corps that dosnt support the war ???

Bah. I was all over Empire this weekend. I watched XETIC blob up at least three times in Empire this weekend and send their enemies packing. I also watched XETIC get owned by Supremecy a couple times.
My point: the war is just getting started. Use your Alliance channel. Put that Brutix in your sig into a blob and kick some ass! Don't call yourself toast before the war is even 72 hours old.

Hehe, I've already taken in one political refugee from this war, looks like there may be some more soon.
I won't judge how people play the game. Some like the thrill of PvP, some like to pop in and do a few hours of something less intense just to relax. Whatever makes you happy I say. On the other hand though, I think we'll finally see alliances being what they should be, and their numbers dropping as people find out they are not just a free pass to 0.0 for anybody who signs up.
Decide what you want from the game, then if that means fighting for it - do so.

A whole new world opened up for me and made EVE even more interesting than it already was. Sure, I got jumped and lost a ship... but it was pure fun and adrenaline, all 40 secs the attack lasted. 
After that I learned about ganging up, joined in hunts, even joined an alliance fleet of 110 ships. I didn't get to shoot at an enemy but still. They're all new experiences.
K. Not everyone is up for this playing style. But you could always change corp. And you get to change that sig of yours...

The big winners, paradoxically, will be large empire corps that don't care to be in an alliance as the cost of an alliance declaring war on them (especially if the alliance is already embroiled in war(s)) will be prohibitive.
This looks somewhat as if alliances are not supposed to have large amounts of carebear corps in them.
Mercs, btw, if the formal contract system ever gets done, should get the benefit of sanctioned war cover if they are under contract without joining an alliance. (Just throw that in..)

If you needed help let the Directors of Event NOVA know instead of posting on the forums.
We will advise you on how to stay alive and teach you a few tricks of the
trade. Plus PvP is the one thing in the game that rock big time. The ammount of skills
needed to take part on a small scale are not large. Once you get your first
Kill you will find it hard to go back to do anything else but PvP.
So please don't look at the new wars as a hinderance look at it as an oportunity to
learn something new.

I dunno, sounds quite exiting to me. Slap it in a badger, Wham on an ECM array, and go cause some mayhem (Keeping the minerals in your hold is optional).

I understand your frustration. Xetic forces spent alot of time LOOKING FOR CA this weekend. We were even kind enough to go to their Region, but to no avail. Could you and the rest of the community be kind enough to tell us where CA is hiding? Perhaps we could use bookmarks to get there before they log off.
UPDATE: CA found and poded me. LOL Megathron vs 10 BS = OWNAGE. I can't tell you enough how much I love battle
