Originally by: Braaage Problem with secure cans being transportable and huge is players will use them as they are now for getting that little bit extra in yer hold. There is a simple solution to this:
Make cans hold more (like 20000m3) and 3000m3 in mass but make them so they cannot be transported with anything inside them.
In other words make them take up less space when repackaged (you cant put thing in non assembled cans). --------------------------------------------------

That's another thing that burns my arse... Why do I take a sec hit, and/or get ganked by CONCORD for shooting a thief? That's arse backwards IMO. They should take a sec hit for stealing and I should be able to blow them the heck up... Hell if we were able to do that I'd become an ore thief bounty hunter. It'd be nice to have a subsystem of skills for that type of profession though.
For the same reason you can't shoot a thief that has broken into your house (in most countries), but can shoot if they are a deadly threat to you. --------------------------------------------------

Originally by: Bohr Face it. Secure cans are too small and nerfed to ever be effective for someone doing a mining career. 3700m¦ holds lousy 3 units of ice waisting loads of space and clutters the belts as litter on the streets. Either bring in some useful and cans and unnerf the range penalty on the cans or give honest players some means of repercusion and not the donut eating Concord only caring about smartbomb accidents and gate security.
So driving into some body elses land, parking your strip miner, and ripping out all their ore counts as "honest" work, does it?
Why should the empires let you mine at all? What good do you do them? Do you pay taxes? I bet you have even bribed your buddies at the refinery so the government never sees an Isk of your profit. --------------------------------------------------
