CONCORD has one directive: to enforce peace. It can addequately force empires into peace because of their technological advantage over them. But Capsuleers form a problem for them, as they can be shot, but they just come back. CONCORD would realise by now that capsuleers have no need for peace, on the contrary, they thrive in times of war. Would it therefor not be logical that it terms of capsuleers being a problem, CONCORD and Nation are in allignment? So if we are what stands between Eve and peace, would CONCORD not side with Nation to get rid of the problem?

CONCORD exist primarily to serve and uphold the status quo. capsuleers are part of that status quo, Sansha slave raids on civilian targets are not.
This Nation activity is actually allowing us to prove our worth to CONCORD, I'd say. - Verin "Stitcher" Hakatain. |

Considering that our militias form the backbone of empire navys, I would doubt it.

That's a rather original way of saying CONCORD is aiding the Sansha.
You guys don't quit do you? KINDLY stop with the trice-damned conspiracy thheories about CONCORD and the Sansha's allready, THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS AT STAKE.
Like convincing CONCORD they need to help us and the Navies out. Convincing them in a peaceful manner they will actually listen to.
Finding better ways to track Sansha movements and countering their invasions and abductions.
Smoothing out the co-operation against the common enemy of our peoples, before we lose a hundred thousand more.
There are so many more constructive things you could do. Kindly go find them and do them.

I was at the battle of Ation, as I was also in previous battles against Nation. But I can see clearly that capsuleers stand no chance against Nation as Nation grows much quicker than we can handle. I too wish for CONCORD and the capsuleers to work together here, but I don't see it happening. There are no signs of good cooperation between the two.

Given that CONCORD's relationship with us generally seems to revolve around telling us what we can't do on pain of losing our ships, I don't know that things will improve.
Communication through ammunition will only get either side so far.

This seems to be the true reason for most of the animosity. ____

Rebellion against the establishment will always be part of the human race's nature, this is no reason for CONCORD to let millions be taken from the surface of planets. Also, repeatedly Nation has said that it is here to correct the mistake that is capsuleers. If the inhabitants of Eve's worlds understand this then it's not hard to conclude that no capsuleers means no Nation invasion. Even if that logic is incorrect, it is an obvious conclusion to draw for many. And if it IS correct, what happens if capsuleers simply leave the empires?

It might prove very interesting to see what the average non-capsuleer population of Eve has to say about Nation's take on what a capsuleer is. There might be plenty of reason for non-capsuleers allready to side with Nation rather than with us.

What would happen? Sansha forces would be able to roam unchecked, Ation I would look like a Drop in the Ocean compared to the Numbers that Sansha would be able to take if the Capsuleers were not there to intervene. The Reason why Sansha thinks of Capsuleers as a Mistake is because WE are the biggest roadblock in their plans, they know that their Insane Vision cannot come to fruition if the capsuleers manage to put their differences aside long enough to truely focus upon this common threat. ---------------

The capsuleers won't manage to set asside their differences for long enough in high enough quantity.

My theories where party past on CONCORD behaviour during these Nation incursions. As CONCORD appears to be undergoing a change, I'm sure my theory will too as time progresses. We shall see CONCORD's next move.
