In EVE you can make your own challenges, if you don't dare to go 6 jumps into lowsec to do that lvl 4 storyline mission because it is too much of a challenge for you.
Then tough luck, you are stuck to those boring regular high sec missions.
Why not take up the challenge to build up faction with a pirate corp so you can get a pirate BPC? thats a challenge.
Want to get parts for a t3 cruiser and venture into wormholes? thats a challenge.
These are just two examples of many.
Don't just sit there and say lvl 4's are too easy and i want more challenge, because it is already out there, you just got to go and grab it.
LVL 4 missions are there so we all can wind down a bit and make a few bucks while relaxing and have a chat with our buddies.
Personally i think you get too rich to fast by doing them, a buddy of mine who just started just bought his first faction BS and got enough spared for a Marauder already, just 2 months after he joined. nuts.
I never followed that missioning part, i did a lot more interesting challenging stuff, even though it has not always brought me prosperity, but i don't care, as long as what i do gives me a real challenge.

Ive done carebearing, PvP, back to carebearing 0.0 ratting, then back to PvP and now who knows.
Eve is what you make of it. You think level IVs are too easy then get a corp going and go for lvl Vs or low sec IVs.
However dont cry that you want something more challenging when you're not ready to take the risk. There is a reason why all level Vs are in low sec unless you start doing faction wars. There is a reason why 0.0 NPC pirate corps give about 4-5 times the reward and isk. You haven't really had a challenge until you've tried some of the 0.0 storyline missions. Those of us who have done them can back me up. Also Blockade takes on a whole new meaning when its Concord NPCs you're shooting at. If you want something new and different grow a pair and start having some fun. Join a low sec pvp corp or gasp a 0.0 one. Hell even if you just grab an inty with a friend and scan out a couple of low sec ratters and have some fun with them its something. Don't tell me well you're just a 0.0 guy what do you know. I currently have a 4.76 Sec standing I have a 9.52 standing to brutor tribe a 9.17 Standing to Sansha's nation and a 5.4 to Concord even after running so many blockades I cant even count them(2X concord cloakies still unused).
This game is what you make of it. If you're tired of the grind then do something about it..Just dont come here and complain that the missions are too easy when you're missing out on the other 75% of the game. It took me over 6 months to realize that. Hopefully it wont take anyone else who thinks this game is only about PvE longer.
