I imagine that its looking at the average price for those items, and if they are for sale at 100k each then you will get some quite rediculous offers like that. I did notice erlier that alot of ppl have drugs / slaves for sale at 20-50k each.

So the system/game makes an offer to someone and therefore an issue with the game and NOT the player at all and yet the PLAYER will get into trouble for exploiting.
Thats a nice way to thank someone for pointing out a bug
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

I've found a mission that gives good loot, and now I'm worried I'll get banned for collecting it. Seriously. About 15-20M in loot from drones, the toughest SOBs in the game. I *think* it's legit, becuase they are so damn tought to kill a decent loot drop is only fair, but now I'm worried it will be "obviously" a bug and I'll be banned for cleaning up the cans.

Heh...
I wouldn't read into it too much (the 'obviously' part). I think it was obviously a bug to him. It 'obviously' looked like a bug to me, too ... but only because of the three digits after the decimal.
I wouldn't sweat it. ---------------

Yeah I can see how you'd be worried, warning players like that wasnt too clever
If you tell me the details of where to do this Drone killing to get good loot I will happily give you a 2nd opinion ....Im serious though, mail me details in game and I'll let you know

Papa Smurf, what heppens if i accept offer and bring what agent want?
It will be considered an exploit probably, but that is a GM issue. However the money will definately be found and deleted (if you have actually used it, you will be in bigger trouble). We're sorry about the inconvenience, someone made a static update to TQ but didn't update the code at the same time.
WOW! Zrakor! I can't believe that you did say this! Threating customer that way and telling that if he will accept that mission then he would be punished!
1st at all it's not our foult so don't blame customers! Someone did poor job he should be punished first not customer who fill your pockets.
2nd I see that reward as justified one. Pay 600 mil ISK for something in that big volumes is pretty right. Get all these drugs from agents is equal to month or more time working for agent in 0.0 space. So reward is pretty in line with time need to supply agent needs.
Actually all LP rewards are joke and honestly for me current rewards for LP is more than insult to customers.
Apology would be nice to these people instead threating would be justice.

No the people are mad because CCP utterly f*cked up the missions and after you get something decent you're being told that you will be sanctioned for exploiting.
That reward seems a bit much but something like 50milion would be cool since someone mining in 0.0 would get the same money in less time you'd need to smuggle all the contraband (if at all possible) to the agent.
CCP lighten up already and start making sense.

The mission is called "Silence the Informant" and I've had it twice. The second and third rooms are easy, but the first is a nightmare; I warped out with low armor a few times before settling on a good config (5 slots for tanking, two for cap items to keep the tank runing) Imagine being swarmed by half a dozen amaar navy mallars while mercenary cruisers spam misisles at you and sentry guns take pot-shots from 100 klick away. Only everything moves too fast for most guns to hit.
So I feel like I earnt that loot.

Gee, it is an exploit to accept an agent's offer that looks like it has some risk to it? Not to mention loads of drugs the player has to get from somewhere.
I have half a mind to never accept an agent mission offer ever again. Who knows what deals are too good to be true and I sure would not want to risk getting in "trouble" with CCP.
In fact, I'm so afraid I may just have to cancel my account and stop paying for threats like that. Well, no I won't cancel my account but if replies like this become a trend I sure will. I get enough crap in real life from people who act exactly the same way. Why the hell should we pay for it.
Stupid people need to be at the a$$ kicking end of my torpedo! |

Oh grow up. Did you even look closely at the offer? Its was 6 *HUNDRED MILLION* Isk for a handful of drugs (I have ten times that amount at my agent station). It was an obvious bug, and you are just a whiner. Please cancel your account because we cant stand your nasel whining any longer.

Work out how much isk and standing you would lose transporting the goods without using the ship-in-ship exploit* and it's not so obviously a bug. Take into account agent offers are supposed to make up for crap loot, low standing increase, longer mission times, increrased ship loss, and lack of important missions and it's even harder to tell.
Some of the items we expect to see offered in loyalty rewards are worth way more than 700M. +5 implants, faction battleships, super high end named items... we have no idea where the line has been drawn. If I got offered an assault friagte BPO would that be an obvious bug? What about an Imperial Issue Apoc, something I've seen valued in the billions? Right now the only guidline we has is "if the offer is worthwhile, it could be bugged and you might be penelized if you accept it". I don't think it's whining to ask for some clarification on this.
*Maybe it's not an exploit. Maybe it is. Maybe you wont be banned for using it. Maybe you will. Who knows for sure? Only CCP, and they aint saying.

Well I have to say that is a awsome deal compared to what I have been getting offered lol
I would not care personally what dev's gm's said would have tryed to finsih deal They want to get ****ed here is a hint Program game correctly don;t blame the players blame the programers
I mean some the offers I have had have been very stupid I have just over 50k LP points and all offers would have cost me some 20 mill for a 500k implaint and one was wanting a tech 2 gun which would cost 12 mill for a 500k implaint
So far all offers have been STUPID can you ban my agents for making dumb offers and give rewards to agents who are finally making a good offer :)
All can say don't worry about warning players fix program then problem solved
