Old Habits Die Hard
Offer Description
Happily, this station has become a favored pitstop for old merchants, mostly from CBD and Ytiri. Thing is,
many of them have picked up some nasty habits on their travels and I feel it's only my duty to oblige
them. I need 2240 units of Frentix, plus a spatter of Crash, say 320 units. I'll pay you 611812034.629 ISK
for this.

Wow. I have to ask though, what sec space is your agent in ? If it's low enough that customs won't pay any attention, then it's doable. This stuff is out there, and I'm sure you can find people willing to sell at a price so that you can still make a hefty profit.

Obviously a bug, and obviously you will get into trouble if you accept that offer... ;)
The contraband offers had been disabled because of that bug since launch, 'twas supposedly fixed yesterday, probably the code fix didn't hit the patch while the offer reenabling did.

i was thinking about standing loss, criminal flag.... not EXPLOIT!
so i'll refuse the offer and wait for something better!... if possible!

That is not obvious. The offer is asking for contraband in a loyalty offer, which we have been told would happen, and is offering a high price for illegal goods to make up for the effort involved in smuggling them, something everyone has been requesting for a long time.
It may be a bug, but since players have no idea what a "good" offer should look like threatening people with exploit charges for accepting an offer is completely unacceptable, and if I had an account banned for this I would be sufficiently annoyed that I'd contact my credit card company and start fraud proceedings against CCP.
What if the amount was 70M? 7M? 700k? Where do you draw the line and call it an exploit? And how are players supposed to know in advance that they could face severe penalties for accepting what might be a valid offer?
Taking money off player retro-actively due to a bug is one thing, threatening them like this is another.

Well, I thought the exploit thing was kind harsh too, but ... I had an idea something was up when it ended in a 3 digit decimal number.
Plus, it wasn't anything like my other offers. At all.
