Antarea Starfallis Caldari Farsight Systems Omega Vector	Posted - 2010.05.22 15:18:00 - [1] I know a lot of people on here want "teh win" setup and only consider missions fun if they can cash in faster/easier, but I haven't seen much on here addressing which is "the most fun". Maybe the faster paycheck is more fun for you, but I'm curious what everyone would choose to fly in a mission because A) it does good dps (can be rat specific) B) it looks badass (self-explanitory) C) it feels badass to play (not just effectiveness, but showmanship too) Only restrictions would be that it must be BS or lower (no caps) and has to be viable in L4 missions. For example, like the energy sword in Halo... sure you can frag someone easier at range with other weapons, but nothing feels quite as awesome as charging in and mowing someone down in melee range. Or maybe few things rock your boat like toting a BFG into the thick of it or maybe you prefer being the guy 20 miles away that lives the creed of one shot, one kill. Don't be shy. Pick a rat, pick a ship/dmg type and post why its your favorite pwnage-wagon....

Personally I'd prefer something with more spiraly that doesn't scream broken lightsaber or garbage disposal.

The only problem I have with them, and t3 in general, is the lack of a drone bay.

Windorian	Posted - 2010.05.22 18:57:00 - [9] My favorite, rattlesnake with t2 torps, big tank, 2 drone links, 1 omni directional, 1 target painter, all t2 drones, sentry mostly. Anthing at rages of 30-85km gets melted by sentries, close range are eviscerated by torps and heavies. Never have to turn a tank mod on, can continue at near same ability if you get nueted, and yes, the new scorpion looks good. Can't wait til the expansion is out so i can fly my death-star with looks to match it's teeth.

Check AC Mach, it's a big squid with model looking 5 times the size of a Rattlesnake, flopping around at almost 600 m/s with ab.

Non-fail mission Tengus use systems that make it look like a soda can with one end partially crushed. The thing is pugly. It's just embarassing. Mach goes close to 600 m/s with ab.

HAM tengus can hit nearly 1k dps, spew missiles at a hilarious rate, and with subs to 5 you should be nearly hitting 700m/s depending on your AB. the combination of sick speed due to AB bonus, limited HAM range, and sick HAM DPS make for a satisfying & engaging mission experience.

I didn't mention it because, going by the OP, he didn't seem to be the kinda person that finds warping into a mission, sitting there and shooting everything, then warping out to be much fun. Tengu requires more user input and attention, which I got the impression he would enjoy more. :)

Best I think I've ever done is a 3 an that was on a Sansha, but aside from that, Golem is fun just very slow, an the tengu does out tank it.. All a matter of personal preference mate. Rattlesnake is due to be "fixed" since its broken LOL, but it is what the Domi should have been. (**** dps an "Carrier" level tank) :D If pvp is your thing, I call Rapier as most deadly (I fly SB's) Or maybe a Curse....

They do them extremely well with little or no risk of being destroyed(by npcs). The most fun I have ever had doing missions was in a Stabber Fleet Issue. The ship fitted correctly can solo some Lvl4 missions, and it's really fun running around in a ship that has no business doing what you're doing in it. However, for ships that can actually do Lvl4s(most of them) a AB fitted torp phoon was fun as hell(pre-dominion) and I'm sure it's even better now!! edit for spelling fail

Well unless they're small balls of sparkles from missile hits anyway. Mach fits all 3 easily.
