Ultimately this is a massive patch.
Kudos to CCP for posting updates on whats happening. Given the next is at 8pm I think we can safely assume it'll be 8pm before anything new happens.
As stated in previous posts. the web forum and the tranquility database is part of the same cluster, perhaps its the excessive load on the forums that is causing the slowdown in database queries thus we are responsible for extending our own downtime?
Just a suuggestion.
CCP keep up the good work! :) |

Jesus, I've heard some tight b*stards before, but this? This update is for you - they are deploying this for our enjoyment. They've been working flat out all of today. If there's a delay, so what? I'd rather it was as good as it could be before it comes out, and I'm certainly not going to cry about missing some 3 hours of game time. |

Ugh, it's telling me 2.6 gig also. On the plus side the download just jumped from 145kB/sec to 1,333kB/sec.
Maybe it's walking the entire 2.6gig install and only applying 253mb's worth of changes?

Thought I'd drop by and see how things were going.
Less whine than I expected, actually. Perhaps some of you do have a life outside desperate, needy, virtual reality.
It's a beautiful summers day here in southern Ontario and I've been taking full advantage of the fact that the hotties on the beach are wearing a whole lot of next to nothing.
