Perhaps not the right place, but I couldn't find an Eve Gate thread, so it's going here. On the home page, where the corp/contact chatter is listed, it's difficult to tell which chatter you're looking at because of the menu colors.
I would suggest the inactive menu text (ie, the letters themselves) be slightly grayed out, and the active text brighter. Would make it much easier to differentiate between the two.

Well, there does seem to be a problem with the server, as it is not accepting connections.
Also, just want to say, I think you guys are doing a good job and to keep up the good work. Ignore those ppl who while the patch was loading complained about it taking too long and also ignore those who are now complaining because things are going wrong. You canĘt win ether way  . I for one say keep up the good job, all good things come to ppl who wait and learn to roll with the punches.

We took Tranquility down to try and fix some issues. The server is currently up in VIP mode while we test our fix. The server did not crash.

me and a few corp members where setting up a camp of a system. I had scanned down the 2 main pos in system that where currently active (rorquals and carriers, ratters etc pos'ed up)
I previously made a bookmark 90km off to the side of a pos in a pilgrim, along with various tactical bookmarks in system, a drag bubble in line with the same pos I had a 90km bookmark.
I was to this 90km bookmark cloaked from 20km off a gate, still cloaked. Soon after landing I was popped by the pos, no biomass, no wrecks, ships or modules within 90km of me. The only thing I can think of is I must have been decloaked by the pos as I warped through it to my 90km safe.

we stable players realize that with every new patch there will be problems of sorts, code just runs together after so many hours of writing and drinking "Sink the Bismark"(TM)http://www.brewdog.com/sink_the_bismark.php ) you lucky Dev guys....
But to restore the civil normal pew pew eve madness you call the sandbox, (Cause billy is throwing sand again, complaining.) why don't you guys set us all up with the necessary skills for lvl 2 PI action.
Giving every terminally addicted eve player a chance to increase his isk, thus more game time, more ships, more pew pew rock crunching warping gate crashing bubble camping foamy goodness for all... I'm sure the gesture will sooth the savage beast that dwells with in all the narcotic minded eve capsuleer's.

How hard would it have been to just expand the list of corp logo options as opposed to changing the existing ones?
I haven't seen any other options to complain about since I was on for like 20 minutes before the server went back down. . .
With that out of the way, I must say the Scorpion is ****ing amazing. You won there.

SSL Cert for www.evegate.com is wrong. Its registered to gate.eveonline.com. Fix your links or DNS.

She's right, there does not seem to be an obvious link to the EvE Gate. Need a real obvious one on the Eve-Online web page.http://www.eveonline.com/ Like at the top of the items list on the left.

Mails sent using EveGate are not paragraphing. Sent a mail that had 3 paragraph breaks in it in EveGate, when I view the same message (I sent it to Alliance so received a copy myself), none of the paragraph breaks were respected.
It's a wall of text :)
Also, when composing a mail in Evegate, when you type in a website link/url, it shows as yellow - indicating it's "hotlinked" or whatever you call it. But when the message is sent out and read, you cannot click on the link to go to the website address. You have to copy/paste it into your browser.

When starting the client while the server is down... at some point, the server status indication gets stuck on "CHECKING STATUS" and fails to update after that point. Restarting the client addresses the issue, but after one or two iterations, it gets stuck at checking status again.
Secondly, in the items screen while in station. After doing a search that returns "nothing found" I can't clear the search results. And both the items and ships screens now appear empty.

Good question. Previously CCP were posting updates roughly every 30 mins on another forum (although I have to say, unhelpfully for newer players it was on a different thread elsewhere) and further, the updates were mostly telling us what they were doing, that they were fixing issues, that DT was going to be extended. Then again the CCP person who pested in here at 02:06 states that the server was taken down and some work is being done.
Can I make a suggestion? CCP - what we all want to know in these circumstances is WHEN EVE WILL BE RUNNING AGAIN. Yes, you're doing a great job. Yes I am patient and will wait. But it would help everyone if CCP could at least say "Server will be down for at least [insert time period here]" or even "Sorry - We do not know how long they will be down for".
Just leaving us all wondering is unprofessional and highly frustrating.

Personally after playing for now 6 years, i'd rather see a break from pushing content and instead pushing to fix the broken stuff, before they go for content

align distance on overview to the left so it meshes with the rest of the overview
fix corp logo graphics, the colors look atrocious now, especially ones with gradients. many pixels showing
separate cynosural fields from beacons so I can take those annoying new deocration sites off my pvp overview without removing cynos
pos standings are broken as im sure you well know
a couple reports of eve gate showing female portraits as male
more to come im sure

When I was in Engineering School one of my Profs taught me that it isn't a design flaw, it's a product feature.
I am guessing that no longer being able to delegate fighters to another player off grid from you is an unlisted product feature.

Can you tell us what has been fixed so far?
I have been looking on the various threads, but so far haven't seen anything.
I'd like to know (as others would I am sure) what it is safe to do, not to do, etc etc...will we still be shot at by our own POS defences, is the Ogre I BPO Manufacturing tab back in place, those sorts of things.

TQ is now open again following the deployment of a fix for the standings issue with starbases.
The right aligning of distance in overview is by design.
We are aware of the issue with portraits in EVE Gate and working to fix it.
Those players reporting issues with their corp logos, could you please submit a bug report with an image of the corp logo and point out exactly what was changed? If you have an image from before the patch that would be splendid, thank you.
