The Gallente are the faction who favour art and elegance and all that stuff.
The Gallente also, hands down, have the prettiest shuttle. It's graceful and sleek and elegant.
Why, then, are all the other Gallente ships so ugly? Asymmetrical, lumpy chunks of dark grey bleah. I've had bronchitis for a week, and I'm pretty sure I've coughed up prettier ship designs than the Gallente lineup currently offers.
Give us pretty ships, CCP. I'm begging you here.

What I can never understand is why they made the GM's Sisi ships and Jove ships the prettiest ships in the game? You'd think they'd put the prettiest ships in Tranquility so that people can actually see them (without flying to Jove space).

Maybe it's just me, but I thought as far as symmetry goes the majority of Gallente ships are symmetrical (or close to being) 
i.e Vexor, Mega, Iteron, Nyx, Maulus, etc.
With that being said, I like the asymmetricality of some of the ships, and as much as I love the Domi it still is a flying turd.

Be patient. The Gallente will have the hottest female toons and most extensive selection of fashion clothing when Walking in Stations comes out.

I care not for the hotness or fashionability of Gallente women, with or without Walking In Stations.
Apart from anything else, if I wanted to walk around in space stations, I'd play KOTOR or something. I play EVE because I want to FLY around in SPACESHIPS.
PRETTY ONES.
And don't give me Amarr. Not only are Amarr evil slave-trading psycho-fundies, I find their ships aesthetically displeasing. Too bulbous, too yellow. I want the Gallente shuttle aesthetic.
This is, honest to God, the thing that annoys me most about EVE.
But then, I really quite like EVE.

Amarr shuttle looks the best imo...if you don't like the Amarr ship colors, fly t2/faction versions.

it use to look nice but after a few grapic updates they looked meh
dont worry they are getting around to redoing EVERY ship in eve they just started with the scorp this patch

Just change the Dominix design to be a larger version of the Myrmidon (which it already is in function) and I'll be the happiest person alive.

As much as I'd wish to see that (wow, it would be fantastic  ) I think it's very unlikely to happen. Never seen any of the already existing ship designs disappear from the game only because aesthetics purposes.(Yes, the Domi has a weird resemblance to something between eggplant and manure chunk)
Instead CCP could do a full revamping of the Dominix design, as they have done with the Scorpion ( much nicer now, in my opinion)

I agree 100% with the OP.
I don't fly Gallente. Why? Because their ships mostly look like bulky humps of clay. "Elegant and sylish" .. perhaps for an elephant?
I don't care for stats alone when I want a ship. I will never fly the bulky Gallente crap or Mallers, Moas or whatever other ugly thing around.
Btw Minmatar shuttle tfw!!

As my main is gallente, everytime i hop in my covops (helios) and undocking i see a disabled hockey player from behind.

There is so much wrong with the whole Gallente faction from the way they get beaten up every eve chronicle that comes out, to the muddy textures and awful design of the ships following onto the fact their FW agents (and most other agents for that matter) are nerfed in comparison to say, Caldari offerings....
Then let's go on about the basic game mechanic imbalances such as the fact that hybrids suck, active armor tanking super-sucks (especially on MWD-dependent ships??) to the point where most of the ships sporting that bonus get SHIELD tanked (WTF?!) - don't even get me started on the pointlessness of tracking links or sensor damps which are so awful nobody even bothers to mention them anymore, even though they eat up bonus slots on Gallente Ewar and logistics hulls that could go towards something marginally useful.
Honestly it just seems like CCP want to make Gallente so useless they can dump them out of the game. Next expansion we'll wake up and there'll be three factions. Guess managing four was too much effort, eh guys?

I kind of agree with the OP. Most of the Gallente ships look alright IMO. The only ones that really need a new design are the Atron, Imicus, Celestis, and of course the Dominix.
And someone needs to fix the Typhoon. Logs don't belong in space.

but in any case... In a way it makes sense. Gallente ships are supposedly designed as armor tankers and/or drone boat.
That said, I like my jousting snowmobile (incursus and ishkur) I lik my boomerang (myrmidon) and... Well I'm not sure if I'm ok with my vexor looking like a horse's head from the side.
The only thing I can get out of the dominix other than a bag of poo with thrusters attached is a running shoe if you sorta look at it sideways... But it's too darn slow to be a running shoe.
