Can someone please tell me how to get rid of a macro-ratting Raven?
Qives is logged in 23/7 and is ALWAYS ratting in J1-KJP. It is not possible for someone to go from belt to belt for 20 hours a day.
I sent a petition but have gotten no response.
Thanks

I would recommend a Nyx or Aeon. (Or you could talk to his CEO?)

if you only wish to get rid of them, AFK(cloak) some time in their system. Either they will go somewhere else or keep ratting with you in local, so you can kill them.

Majority of 0.0 is macro filled, our only hope was to call down the wrath of the sphere, but sadly this ability no longer works :(
The good news is you now know why so many people enjoy joining 0.0 alliances the bad news is macros cant join your fleet ops :( -- Emo TraderJohn's Number 1 Fan!! |

Whats needed and has been for a long time is a way to scan down cloaked ships. Cloaking SHOULD be a way to hide, but not forever. Either these macro'ers are forced to actually log off or they're caught with a decloak scan.
Some dedicated ship or specialised probe to gradually pin down the little sods. Heck, they could make it a specialised subsystem for the t3 frigates when they eventually come out. Just something to finally make cloakers work at it again, especially macro users. - - elorran is part time theoretical theorist, dedicated practitioner of Ti Kwan Leep, and an avid connoisseur of fine whines |

no not really.
the best way to deal with macro ratters is to **** in their cheerios. rat the hell out of their system, or leave someone in there 23/7 and eventually the macro gives up.
yes, you might not catch them but where's the challenge in ganking some ****-fit raven

These are the biggest carebears of all.
Once you get in "their" system, it really bothers them. I got the babelfish going translating all those insults being hurled about in Russian
These are the easiest people to grief, and they deserve it because they bring it on themselves. It's like Jan Brady in space ships. All you have to do is be there and say nothing and they go nuts. Drop combat probes around them for the effect. Though there is little you can do in a cloaked ship, they will do it all to themselves from screaming at nothing to bringing in a score of their alts and ratting buddies to hunt you down. If that happens, stay cloaked at a SS and go to a movie or something. Congratulations you just brought down a macro-ratter op without firing a shot. Sun Tzu would be proud.

no we dont need a cloak nerf because of fu***** macros, they would then simply setup a small POS and hide there instead of cloak.

[x] never killed a small POS
please fraps it next time how you do it quickly... And, what is more important, how you motivate your gang for hours of POS bashing because of a sh*tty macro raven.

pick a belt close to the gate and drop probes around it in a way to pick someone up from that planet(if you can get the palnet with the most belts it will better or have more then one person do it
have a hick in your gang jump in at the same time as the scanner(you can all jump in it works better ) re-connect to probes scan and warp fleet and drop bubble if you do it fast he will still be there if not leave system for 3 min he will go back to ratting and you can just try again

Get bob to pick a different name yet again. You do that by disbanding them (not hard). Then they will reform under the name McDonalds all emo and nerd raged and start a campaign against nc named max 3.0

We are definitely eating into the macro ISK making because there seems to be a larger than average presence of reds in the area of R-YWID area of Tenal.

we tried that, but the hick just marveled at indoor plumbing and then proceeded to try to sleep with his sister. support the parrot

You guys are actually missing a great ransoming opportunity. We do loads of Blackops and live in enemies 0.0 space for sometimes weeks on end. We have on numerous occassions had macro ratters pay us a "rental fee" to leave them alone whilst our op is on.
This has added benifit in that after we promise to leave them alone and receive said pay they will change their macro to not warp to safe POS if one of us is in the system. This means after contract is finished and before we leave we run around to all our tennants and blow up their ships one last time and depart.
Normally Lulz ensue.

Your best bet is to grief him.
Keep a cloaky logged in his system if you want to grief him afk. If you want to take a more active role fly through the belts and clear them of valuable rats AND their little frigate buddies so you screw up his rat chains.

In other words, the Wicked Witch of the West strategy: "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!"
Other ideas inspired by The Wizard of Oz:
"Follow the yellow brick road": Salvage and loot the drone wrecks.
"Fly, my pretties": If the macro ratter likes drones so much, send him some of yours as well.
"We welcome you to Munchkin Land": If they react to one player entering the system, enter the system in a 30-man frigate blob and watch the fun.
"I do believe in spooks": go AFK in a cloaked ship. Someone else has mentioned this tactic already but it fits the Wizard of Oz theme so well that I had to include it.
"Put 'em up, put 'em up!": Get your own battleships and shoot them. Don't forget to say "Ding! Dong! The witch is dead!" in local after you pod them.
"Oh, you're wasting my time!": Kill the rats first.
"We're off to see the wizard": What would Chribba do?
