solo pvp is overpowerd
did you know tat one guy in a kestrel can kill someone in a battleship because apparantly they can. a battleship in the real world has lots of point defenses and stuff that let it protect itself from the small ships but in eve my battlesjip has no defense against anythng smaller than a battleship!
if akestrel can kill a raven then something is really wrong wth the game because in every other game you cant be killed by people who are a lowr level than you. kestrel is a frigate and frigates are low level ships for new players so why can a kestrel beat a raven I ask you?
i think that there is a fatal balance issue in this game.

4/10 rather obvious but you got some big name bites so keep on keeping on

You have drones, you could have Webs, you could fit small or medium ACs in your spare HSlots (or neuts), you could have TPs, or you could downsize your weapons.
The fact that newbies can kill Vets is one of the best things about the game.

In Eve, point defense = fittings. 2 x webs, TP, ECM drones, Neuts, in various combinations, if you need to protect yourself from frigs. You can't have it all.
I do however sometimes wish that webs had the same optimal and falloff mechanics as turrets to make things more interesting. The all or nothing for current webs mechanics is too predictable. Better would be more uncertainty.

No ship larger than a destroyer that has utility highs should ever lose a fight to a kestrel. There are these things called neuts that render any ship smaller than a frigate totally useless pretty much instantly. |

That Itty V was able to solo the failfit Mega with much less DPS than a Kestrel puts out, so I suspect an extreme lack of competence on the Raven's side.
