Please keep in mind that just beeing gay is still punishable by death in a few countries and it's persecuted in many more. EVEs playerbase is made from players around the world. Your choise of name may offend people from certain areas, they may think beeing gay is morally wrong just as others think its not. Even in the "morally advanced nations" you will find a noticable amount of haters.

Our civilization as a whole is far from beeing mature enough to show the necessary tolerance, acceptance and respect to all things/ideas/human beeings/cultures/religions/minorities/etc. Maybe one day far in the future this might change, but right now we are still barbaric savages.
