Both power relay and flux coil fit fine, just tested this on a clean install. |

ok . i might just have to clean install since i had horked with the sqllite database. If you don't see a problem in 0.0 eroding into two big super-coalitions and a few hangers on in areas nobody cares about.. then you don't have brains. |

why do you have a third party firewall installed? windows 7 has a perfectly good built in firewall. If you don't see a problem in 0.0 eroding into two big super-coalitions and a few hangers on in areas nobody cares about.. then you don't have brains. |

Just started trying Pyfa out after using EFT for several years. I like the look and feel of the tool. I think it has some real pluses.
I do have a question though. Is it possible to apply implants to a character versus fittings? This is something that would be very beneficial.
One other comment thus far. I've used the import function to grab several of the fittings from EFT. That has worked well. However when I attempting to grab all of the fittings at once Pyfa seemed to hang and go non-responsive. There was no i/o or read/write activity on the Pyfa process at this point and I had to kill the process. Select 3-4 at a time worked without issue.
Nicely done though. |

I note I have a pyfa.exe.log text file but it was last updated 23/07/2012, while I use PyFA almost daily and often it exits with a permission error. To both people getting this, can you try renaming your .pyfa folder in your home dir and see if that fixes it ? (your fits are stored in there, make sure to not remove it!!) That didn't change the error.
I did find that Win7 doesn't like you naming things .pyfa via the GUI, but is fine with it in the command line. |

Not sure if it's mentioned but when trying to fit a medium core defense operational solidifer, the program bugs out. Fits won't load, you cannot modify a fit once you tried sticking one on.

Happens with Medium Core Defense Field Extenders too. I've locked out three exhumer fittings, a couple skiff fittings and I think one hulk, with both the T1 and T2 versions of that rig. |

I've locked out three exhumer fittings, a couple skiff fittings and I think one hulk, with both the T1 and T2 versions of that rig. The rigs, or at least one of the rigs, shows up in a ship info summary, but I don't recall how I pulled it up. Basically it was the window that showed what's affecting the ship and included stacking bonuses.
Thanks for that, I'll see to fixing those tomorrow.
For the crashes .. I'll try and check with the ones of you that are on irc what we can do to fix em. |

This bug extends to version 1.19 and you can't load fittings which use an Large Core Defense Operational Solidifier I/II.
If you add an Large Core Defense Operational Solidifier I/II to an existing fit, the rigs doesn't display and the fit becomes unloadable. |

One issue I have is there really needs to be Lines between highs, mids and lows. Or different shades of color behind them.
Also I would see the implants in the char, noet per fitting.

I have Pyfa 1.1.9 Mac. I used to have no trouble importing xml files exported from Eve's fitting browser. But since getting the latest version, I'm having trouble.
I can't import this XML file. Am I doing something wrong?

I can't seem to uninstall pyfa. When I run the uninstaller it runs with no errors and says it's been removed but all the files are still there along with shortcuts. The program even runs just fine even though it's been "uninstalled". I would just delete the pyfa folder but I don't know what else would be left behind on my computer. I'm running WIndows 7 64-bit. |

Hey there, this is known, I messed up the uninstaller :( It deletes everything at the moment EXCEPT the files in its installation folder and its saved data (which is in c:/users/username/.pyfa)
I'll be fixing this for next release. |

I've just fixed this and committed it to our repository. I've also fixed Rigor Catalysts (they were incorrectly being stacking penalized.) These changes will make it into our next build.
Zel0s wrote:is it possibil to show the effects of remote reps on the own ship some how? Certainly. Search for the item in the market browser, right click on the module, and click "Project Module onto Fit." You can also project an entire ship onto your fit by dragging it from the ship browser into the projected effects area. This is useful when using ships (such as the Bhaalgorn) or implants (such as Talismans) that affect the strength or cycle time of the various effects you're interested in. |

This tool is bloody amazing. Many thanks. I'm having so much fun with it. The only complaint I can find is that once imported to eve, the layout for modules appears random and for those of us who are a bit ocd can be frustrating. But it's the tiniest of issues and by far from a deal-breaker.
Thanks again. |
