5 launchers, 2 rails (depending on available grid, i use 250's)
100mn ab, large shield boost, 3 hardeners (either 1EM, 1 therm and 1 kin or target specific if you know what you're up against)
Whatever you need to make it all fit, i use 4 power diags to help with cap, and also it makes the shield last a bit longer too.
Note: It's unlikely you'll be able to run the booster for very long, so your best bet is to keep range and not engage too much at once.

5 launchers, 2 rails (depending on available grid, i use 250's)

Hm. Does a Ferox with 5 Launchers/2 Rails deal more damage than a Caracal?
I've got mediocre skills in Lasers and Missiles and Im thinking about getting a Ferox, but on the other hand I don't like its bonuses...
I'm thinking about skilling to medium Hybrids now, but is it worth it? Or should I stay with the caracal?

Hmm, caracal probably does more damage, although you're limited to 1 missile type. Ferox just has like 3 times the shield and, with BC trained up and a few hardeners, almost assault-ship-like resists.
Come on, what's not to like about 5% per lvl to all shield resist?

i use; 2* 250 proto's, 5 arbelast heavy launchers, 1 large shield extender, 1 large shield booster, i shield amp, 1 10mn ab 2 1 cap charger 2 4 pdu 2
Holds shield and cap quite nicely whilst dealing a nice amount of damage. have used this in level four missions and seems ok. If anyone can improve let me know.

If it had a turret damage bonus i'd agree with you, but as it is you might as well use whichever you have better skills in/feel most comfortable using. Plus the fact that missiles are so versatile right now (esp with the leading of fast targets) makes them (to me) a better choice.
Plus missile spam looks cool

If it had a turret damage bonus i'd agree with you, but as it is you might as well use whichever you have better skills in/feel most comfortable using. Plus the fact that missiles are so versatile right now (esp with the leading of fast targets) makes them (to me) a better choice.

pvp setup 5 heavy launchers, 2 150rails (for those pesky inties that won't come close) 2x 100MN AB (named or T2) 1x 20k scram, 1x webber (best you're willing to part with) last mid slot is dependant on your skills and type of ship you're fighting.. frigs use sensor booster, anything else use shield booster or hardener.
the lows fit 3 PDU IIs, 1 cap relay (again depending on skills)
I can kill any normal frig, cruiser, BC (depending on their setup), and any pure gunboat BS (funny watching those gankgeddons go down) if the BS is tanking, you need backup tho.. and with the current missile bug, you don't want to tangle with ravens/scorps.
