Hi, I have a Punisher currently equipt with 3 150mm railguns.
I generally fly with one wingman who has short range weapons.
I tend to keep my distance and therefore prefer long range guns.
Can anyone tell me if there are any better long range guns that I could use on my punisher?
Also, can anyone suggest a good short range weapon setup?
Any weapon type is valid. I plan on learning skills for all weapon types.
Thanks.

250mm light artillery or any of the rare drop similar guns ( such as the dual 150mm carbine howitzer - mouthfull if there ever was ) are excellent long range projectile weapons. The 280mm artillery is a bit slow cycle time to be usefull though.

i find the dual scouts 150 artilleries good all round weapons, their optimal range is about 5km, but they are efective as off15km, and i see no noticeable lack of efficiency bellow 5km. Or when i get that close the NPC enemy is pulp already. Before geting those i used the dual 135 scout AC or the scout 150 AC. Both have optimal distance around 1km and their rate of fire makes up for the reduced damage. Of course, you spend ammo like a mad person...

I have a question while we are on this subject. I have been using the 200mm Carbine Howitzers and I love the range and damage they do. I love esp. the load out. 400 rounds. Very nice and don't have to reload as often. But they are somewhat slow on the RoF. Like 12-15 seconds.
Now everyone loves the Scouts and I have a question. I have not been able to find this info on the web or anywhere else, but what is the load out on the Scouts? And what is the RoF for these. I think I read somewhere they had a load out of like 4000, but I would like to find out for sure from those that actually have some of the Scout line of projectile weapons.
Thanks in advance...

4000?? I dont know about those numbers. My dual 150 mm scout artillery has 80 rounds at present (about to get nerfed to 20 if im not wrong) and RoF about 3sec. (less with bonuses of skill and equip, of course).

Yep, I didn't think that 4000 sounded right. But that is why I was asking. That is another reason I like the Carbine, 400 rounds and hardly have to reload.
With running 3 of those, I just have to count 5 and start the next unit and then another 5 and hit the last one.
Hope they don't nerf the load out on these.
