T3 ships already get a bonus to tractor range/speed with the right subsystems (Emergent Locus Analyzer). You can get use T2 salvagers to increase salvage efficiency, so in a way you already have a dedicated (if expensive) set of ships for doing this.

T3 is not and has not, been the "catch all" of EVE. T3 ships are personalized control over your ships fitting and abilities with massive costs and benefits ( namely some ppl do lvl 4's solo in T3s ). Its as simple as the difference between a command ship and a covert ops or stealth bomber: different roles and different play-styles.
Perhaps some more detail would be required for it? Such as giving it 1,000m^3 as a base cargo hold, no armor or shield resists or reduced hull, armor, shield stats? Anything else would've been abit more inventive. But does make you wonder why they didn't include any high-slots in that thing.

I definitely support a more useful, erm, use of the Primae, it's such a nice looking ship, so a T2 version that can salvage would be nice. 6/8 highs with a tractor beam bonus to range and speed.
Or just 4 highs, new module, the Trac-vager, a module that combines the tractor and the salvager, with a long range, that salvages, and pulls the wreck in, but when they wreck pops it's still locked on the can and keeps pulling. (Semi jokey suggestion btw, would be cool, but given they're different entities it'd be not so easy to introduce)
If anything it could be used as a T2 industrial ship of death with nozzes if that never works.
But either way, I definitely promote the use of the Primae model, it's very pretty, I know people slag it off for it being not so useful a ship itself, but what to people expect? a free BS?

Ship bounces: 5% improvment to salvige chanse? ship bounce: 10% improvment to tractorbeam range or speed? (maby both?)
This would work out quiet nicly as the hull is awsome and i would like to see this ship be more than just a "looks good ship" no use free unit.
anyone else think this would be an OK addition? (why make it T2? T1 is fine) anyone else want to add anything to this or say its pants? or good?

I had the same idea but didnt bother to post anything... It would be great! especially if it follows the style of ORE ships: covetor: yellow , hulk: red primae: yellow , TII primae: red
Also the T1 primae as it is now is just plain useless... i wonder how CCP didnt realize that?
