Pirates need to be taxed at least 50 percent on thier purchases. Pirates disrupt the whole universe causing the police to spend more time and credits to control them. Besides, they are just s****preying on us carebear loving players.

Hello Dan Garvin,
forum trolls need to be taxed at least 50 percent on thier purchases. Trolls disrupt the whole forums causing the moderators to spend more time and credits to control them. Besides, they are just getting on the nerves of us us non mentally challenged players.

nope, people just need to be able to play the role of Anti-Pirate in low sec without also eating a sec loss. more pirates loosing ships means more business for the mining and industry folks.
i propose a concord issued "Pirate Hunting License" if your security status is high enough. with the license you can hunt people below a certain sec status in .4-.1 systems with no sec loss.
it would cause more ship losses and improve the economy! ships going boom means ships being sold.

your suggestion would make more sense if you asked pirates should spend 50% more ammo per shot. see how silly it sounds? ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

Mission runners need to be randomly ganked in high sec by the various NPC cartels, utilising overwhelming force. After all they are interrupting the business of interstellar criminal organisations with seemingly limitless combat resources, not hard to imagine Guerista (for example) kill-teams being dispatched to wipe out those who threaten their livelihood.
Oh, and miners should get shot at by passing eco-terrorists for their selfish and unending destruction of the universes natural resources. ----

But if you tax them 50% more they'll have to kill 50% more carebears to maintain the same income.

well if more people mined in lowsec you could make a corp named PETA(People for the Ethical Treatment of Asteroids) and go gank the miners.....

Actually, pirates ARE taxed about 50% already.
After all, half of a ship's contents don't survive the explosion, hence a 50% tax. _______________________________

Sure, I can support a 50 percent tax on pirates. Only if we can put the same tax on the pansies who stay in NPC corps where they can't be wardeced. By cutting off the chance of losing their ships in Wardec PvP, they are hurting the same carebear industrialists you are looking to protect. These carebears need to sell more ships dammit! --------- "The first rock thrown again, welcome to hell little saint. Mother Gia in slaughter, welcome to paradise soldier." -Nightwish, Planet Hell |
