It sounds like Deathfunk should not be in Atlas, from the covert eve mails the CEO sounds like an control freak.

Improve, take responsibility for your game experience, show leadership, passion and drive. If u can't find it in you to do that, I hear PHA take virtually anyone.

Must be embarrassing to hear from your own alliance mates that you suck. Especially all those budding ATLAS FC's. Personally i aint seen a difference between any ATLAS FC, you all seem to be bad. But to hear it from your own members must be terrible.
Especially when you have to log off a nyx and bail your fleet when you cant defend your home system.
I would say -A- left because they didnt want to fight with idiots on their side, but thats not fair, theres a chance they just couldnt be arsed to try and get in through the lag in system to stop ATLAS tripping over their own fail.

The fact your 'paranoid' and 'control-mad' CEO has told it's members to not go on Atlas CTA's or join there missions, I don't call that being a team player, is the Atlas alliance that fragmented these days?

Most alliances with >1000 members have at least 50% scrubs, it's not exactly notable news. A CEO telling his corp members not to die in a fire because he doesn't trust the average alliance fleet in a huge alliance is likely more common than anything.

Aside from the dig to PHA which I guess comes because of some guy rejected/kicked by/from DFUNK joining PHA what I read there is someone trying to have a good corp.
DFUNK have always been pretty strict about everything, we in Atlas know and appreciate it, as we also appreaciate the fact that there's room for corps with a less serious business attitude to the game.
All in all I think if you're not having fun in your current corp you may want to find another one to pass your, let's remember, free time in instead of coming to CAOD to mock corps way above yours. Just saying.
edit: Btw lol at even thinking about "being embarrased" in spaceships serious battles. Fresh air, etc.

We tried petitioning CCP everytime we lost but apparently we don't have the same friends in CCP that PL has, so using PL's primary strategy was out... so all things considered it's the best we could come up with

If you knew funk, u would know that if he did send a mail out like that he would be drunk off his arse and you wouldnt be able to comprehend what he was saying what with all the typo's and obscure references to religion and what "god" is.
I think you should actually try to join DFUNK and have one of the late night talks with funk after he's had two or three bottles of the creature. THEN, after you get him riled up and he posts a mail, use that mail so you can truly show what DFUNK is all about ^^

Seriously though, I might be sticking my c**k on the block here, but I respect Atlas (as reds) - they seem overall to be playing the right game - they're here for fun, they engage in the fights they want, they suck up the losses they take, they enjoy the victories they win, and they don't appear (to me) to take themselves too seriously - it's a nice attitude - I like that.
If one of their corps has a control freak CEO - who cares? - he either controls succesfully and becomes a solid part of Atlas, or he doesn't and it [the corp] falls apart and leaves, unless you're talking about the executor corp and the main men, it's really not gonna make a whole hill of beans difference either way.
