Now thats more like it
One more record broken : The ISK record (and more to come over the weekend) The old record was 3,676,780,000 ISK
One record still standing is the participation record : The old record was at 4,783 participants. I dont think we will break that one.
Always good to have something to aim for in the future
Theres one other, not so official (and accurate) record also - Number of ppl in the "BIG Games" channel for the drawing. I believe the record is ~900-1000 ppl (I dont recall if we actually broke the 1000 ppl 'barrier', but I'm sure it was well above 900) Going to be interesting to see how many turns up this comming monday
I've seen a couple of posts about "why bother entering, when so many others have" - Well... Sure chances are small to actually walk out as the winner, thats the nature of the game.
It's however just as rare to get a chance *at all* to get your hands on a special ship like the II Armageddon, not to mention at this cost!
It's probably a 'once in a life time' chance of getting a II Armageddon for 5M ISK or less!.
You can choose to throw that chance away, buy not playing - or you can choose to have *a* chance at least, buy buying some tickets. No chance at all - or a very small chance? I know what I'd choose (If I could play )
To those with tickets - I wish you all the best of luck

25M ISK donation from the Fountain Alliance (FA) The FA is sponsoring the BIG Lottery in order to promote awareness of the FA passport program. Buying a passport allows you entry to the Fountain Region for hunting purposes (no mining). A passport costs 5M ISK for a day, and 25M ISK for a week.
To get your passport simply contact a FA member (channel 'Fountain').
The sponsored ISK will be put straight into the pot ontop of the ISK from ticket sales.
Remember the drawing of the 42th round of the BIG Lottery is on Monday, December 20th 1800 EVE time (GMT) in ingame channel 'BIG Games'.
Good Luck. BIG Lottery

I don't understand why people start buying tickets to win a ship that they prolly will not fly and are unlikely to win and yet they dont buy tickets to win 250,000,000 isk when there are only 150 other competitors... some people are nuts!
Either that or no one in this game knows maths.
I am buying tickets irrelevant... as I have been doing since I started playing this game.
BIG rules!
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

This is the first time I've bought tickets, but it won't be the last. The prize for this draw is more interesting than a plain cash giveaway, so it attracts more attention.
As a result, BIG will probably have more regular participants after this draw... like me.

The winner's name is Icarus Starkiller, grats for the win!
He was not around during the draw, and was informed about his win via evemail.

Little did I expect my contribution to return such amazing results as this!
I was not around during the draw because, rather than my usual habit of playing Eve, I had chosen to get some shuteye after a long day at a dull job.
Waking up and finding my inbox full of mail that was *not* from yet more agents with 5-LP missions was quite a surprise.
A pleasant surprise when I finally dug out the post from Big.
Is someone going to put a huge cruiser-sized red ribbon on that bird when I get the Amarr skills up to come retrieve her? *laugh*
To the Liberation of all Minmatar!
Merrry Christmas and all that.

Maybe you should contact a dev and ask if you could trade in the imp apoc for a uber tempest. Seems better if you are into roleplay ofcourse. CCP could even make an event of it. "The capture of the Imperial Apoc"
